Abu Hassan is a crowded little place where you can get one of Tel Aviv's delicacys for only 20 shekel. People there seem to argue about if this is only the best hummus in Tel Aviv or even the best in all of Israel.

I've eaten here many times. And I eat humus at any new place because I just love it. For me Abu has an is the best. Yes you will wait in line, and they serve only humus. No salad or anything else. Only fresh onions. But if you love humus and you are in Jaffa then you must try it... More

Famous street food restaurant serving hummus. It is crowded, noisy and usually you have to wait 20 minutes to get a table(usually shared with others)- but it is worth. I am in the opinion that the masabcha (a mixture of humus and techini) is even better than the traditional hummus.

This place has a reputation as being one of if not the best hummus restaurants in Tel Aviv. So, when we got there and saw the long line we were really excited. I'm not saying it was bad, just disappointing. The hummus was regular but nothing more than that. The labane was tasteless. We got a plate of onions that... More

Every one has his "best" humus. But this is the "temple" of humus and masa ha. If you are gentle and polite and don't want to sit with strangers, or treated rudely by impatient waiters who want you to leave before you sit don't go. But if you like raw onions and perfect masa ha, you will return many times.... More

Best hummus in Tel Aviv some say. I´m not so sure about that, there´s plenty of good hummus in Tel Aviv. It is a really cool hole in the wall kinda place though. Rough & simple. If you´re looking for that it´s worth a visit.

As always, this establishment delivers the best of the best in hummus. I always gotten consistently fantastic meals here. Hummus is prepared in three variations here. Hummus, ful and masabacha. My favorite is the MesabacHa. It is a warm, soupy hummus specialty that is a little spicy. There is a real authentic Middle Eastern field to this restaurant. When you... More

This place is the best place in Tel Aviv-Jafo to eat Humus. Not a fancy one, but very authentic. Not everybody would like the atmospher but the Humus worth waiting the line. This is the best humus in town.

No words need to be said about Abu Hasan. It's simply the best hummus in town. Be ready to wait in line if you come on a weekend, remember that the close at 4pm and remember to taste the Massabaha!
