I don't know if I will have the chance to return to Tel Aviv for work anytime soon, but I dream of this hummus. Thanks to my local colleague for bringing me here for a late lunch (I think we were lucky that they still had food left), but we parked the car, walked up, grabbed a table and had... More

Went there Sunday morning still a little asleep. Didn't even read a menu - a proper Muslim guy came and asked 'Humus?' and we just nodded. It was indeed delicious, such an authentic place! Definitely a must!

Not much to say except for the fact that it would change your life to a 'before and after'. Go for either the Massabacha or just Hummus. Go for the green liquid that comes with it, eat the onion as if it was an apple. Life will be good for those 15 minutes. Make love not war. YUMMMMMMMMMMM

The hummus is excellent and the service is fast if you can grab a seat. The noise is deafening and unbearable inside the very small space. The waiters and the owners are yelling back and forth and banging the plates loudly. Order the food to-go and find somewhere to sit and enjoy your hummus (without the noise) in the old... More

This was fairly easy to find and once we heard/saw the crowds outside it was obvious where this was. Don't let the long lines daunt you, they move pretty fast. I didn't see anyone eat anything other than pita and hummus here. Beverages are available for purchase as well. And there's a sink with soap right in the front for... More

The place could not be found open at all. I tried visiting 5 times at various times during the week since I had heard so much about it. Every time, it was closed. And there is no sign or indication of when it opens. I tried as early as 8 am and as late as 6pm.

Not a lot more to say. This place is famous for hummus. In the Middle East hummus is not a side, its the main event and the hummus variations served at Abu Hasan are world class. Tiny spot in Jaffa with a constant line. An in and out flow of happy faces either from satisfaction or anticipation! This is not... More

The. Best. Hummus. It really is worth the hype. Even if there's a line, it's very fast because there are no menus, and no food to cook. Go and enjoy the experience and the food.

What else can be said on probably the best Hummus restaurant in the world. It makes you wonder what have you done so good that you deserve to enjoy this perfection. You can't visit the city and skip this institute.
