Take a plate of "MESHULASH" (Triple) and sit outside watching the Jaffa Port. Share a table with others and enjoy every bite with pita bread.
Long time since I wrote on tripadvisor..
I went to the original abu hassan this week and was actually a bit dissapointed.. maybe because of the very high expectations.
the hummus is ok - nothing special - the people working there are ok, and the location is far from central tel aviv and even not in the centre of yafo...

Not only was the hummus and fal combo dish amazing, the atmosphere is exactly what I came to Israel to experience. The place has lines out the door for both seating and take-away. They were all locals, which automatically made me love the place even more. I had my driver with me who helped order in Hebrew but I'm sure...

Lovely people, great food. A real authentic food experience in Jaffa. mostly recommended! It is crowded but that's how it works and the service is impeccable
Hummus is a very delicate subject in Israel. i know this place since i was a child this is THE best humus in israel!!!!
dont think about getting there after 3 the humus will probably be done and the place will be close/ dont wait till someone will tell you to come in or till a table will be free for you this is not how the resterunt...

It's true. Some times you read review on here and wonder how the reviews are so good. I took a bunch of three friends, who were all sceptical, couldn't pronounce "hummus" and couldn't understand why we were walking 20 minutes to have some dip. Within minutes of getting there they were won over. The food, atmosphere and value couldn't be...
