You can't go wrong with the messa. You can however get broke there. Very expensive but fine cuisine. They have great value to money lunch menu which also works on fridays. Just one thing that bothered me: 30 shekels for a bottle of water - that is over priced and excessive. I am willing to pay 200 shekels for a... More

This Mediterranean–Middle Eastern haute cuisine is enlivened with French and Italian touches. Messa’s impressive white-on-white dining room – and black-on-black bar evoke the style of New York or London, while its menu of luxe-Levantine dishes by Chef Aviv Moshe evokes flavors of the Middle East.

We went there for a business lunch. The food was excessive and had fabulous taste combinations. The atmosphere was cool jazz. A real treat to experience the real Tel Aviv like an Israeli, not a tourist.

I've eaten at Messa twice and the food has been superb on both occasions. This is an excellent kitchen clearly headed up by a top chef. The menu is quite large for a restaurant of this quality. The emphasis is seafood, but the vegetarian and meat options are excellent also. The wine list is quite good with a broad selection... More

Everything was great: Lovely décor; friendly, helpful staff; inventive, delicious food for all three courses we had; a great variety of choices, from vegetarian options for me to non-kosher seafood for a dining companion. I had a salad with a wonderful mix of complicated flavors, including a fun wasabi kick; a delicious pasta with a truffle sauce that featured the... More

Friends took me to Messa to celebrate my birthday, we were pleasantly surprised. Food, ambience & service were excellent. My friend mentioned that it is going to be a birthday celebration when she phoned in to make the reservation, they prepared a special dessert for the occasion.....that’s just good customer service.

I had a Saturday lunch there with a party of eleven, and was extremely disappointed with the restaurant, that is supposedly one of Tel Aviv's finest. * It took the waiters about 10 minutes to approach and offer us drinks, another 20 minutes to bring the drinks to the table, and another 10 minutes to take our orders. * Messa's...
