I'm all for paying for quality but here there were a lot of bells and whistles and not much more. The entrees were more sour than any other flavor, the appetizer polenta was fine, the crab gnocchi was good and so was the wild berry dessert. Two good dishes out of six is not that great...

The menu can be intimidating, but read it and whatever you think you would never order anywhere, that is what you should order. Our group of 8 sampled every appetizer on the menu and they were all outstanding! Try anything or everything. You will not be disappointed. Pricey, but you get what you pay for.

This is a very upscale restaurant in downtown Tel Aviv with a minimalistic, modernistic decor. The food is pricy, but delicious! We had the fresh salad (chopped tomatoes/cucumbers/parsley) and the grilled artichoke for starters, followed by the sea bass and shrimp for entrees. It's a gorgeous dining experience, but be prepared to spend some $, and to spend 2-3 hours... More

This place certainly has a wow factor. The communal tables are great and you feel really part of the restaurant. Ben talked us through the wine list with expertise and understanding of our taste in wine, excellent white Israeli wine. Liel walked us through the menu in a mouthwatering way. The choices and mix of flavours were to die for.... More

The food is much better then the decor , they invested so much in this strange uncomftterbale no windows place, So only the knight table in the middle is possible for reaching your plate . But the food is amazing very special, At night they have indoor bar very smoky and special crowd . Better for lunch.

I don't think I've ever had a dinner quite as delicious as this one: caramelized salmon with wild mushrooms, zucchini and herbs. The service was quiet and professional; the space was understated, elegant, white, soft lighting. The bar is black -- exact opposite of the dining room. Everything about Messa was wonderful. Don't miss it in Tel Aviv.
