The restaurant has ambiance and gives you a certain feel of a restaurant in Paris. The food is good, but I wouldn't say it is something to brag about. The service is slow, even when there are not a lot of people in the restaurant. I buy bread in the bakery all the time (and I am in Tel Aviv... More

They are professionals in every aspect: design, menus, service and mostly important - the food. Quite large portions for such somewhat sophisticated place, good waitressing and supervisor was very professional with an issue we had with one of the main courses. Good variety of choice in the menu. Mostly French wines. One of the best in Tel Aviv.

I came here because of the great memories I had, and also because of the owners' reputation for fine dining and high standards. We reserved non-smoking al fresco seating, but once seated noticed that all outside tables had ashtrays! Apparently the policy of the place is to let the smokers take over until someone complains. Then they lazily ask the... More

Used to be a good place to dine......, last Thursday night we went there for a dinner, my wife ordered goat cheese salad and I ordered fish, as usual they served bread an butter, bread was cold hard uneatable, waitress was very nice and offered us to change it to new warm bread, but we never got new bread, they... They try and act very sophisticated but the Heinz ketchup bottles and cans of Coke on the tables were a bit tacky. I ordered the steak tartare which was served in a do-it-yourself manner. Unfortunately, the proper condiments did not accompany the order and I had to remember what one needed as I mixed it myself. The meat was good,... More

Brasserie M&R is one of the R2M chain of Tel Aviv restaurants (Coffee Bar, Delicatessen, Hotel Montefiore). There's a common aspect to all of them: Food is great (Don't expect Grand Cuisine), service is impeccable & atmosphere is positively unique. I started with a "village" liver terrine. Excellent! Guaranteed to annul the effect of my anti cholesterol medication. The upcoming... More

A busy street of Ibn Gabirol in Tel-Aviv, lots of places to eat and hang out. But this place I'll tell is a gem. First of all, it's very recommended to make a reservation, because the place is packed full most of the time. Also next time I'd prefer to sit inside, the outer sitting is located on the street... The brasserie is a great place to come and have a good meal. The place looks like a bistro in France the cocktails are great and the food is delicious, it's not cheap but you get what you payed for and that is a great meal nice service and a very nice place. The only thing that's bothering is bad... More

Everything here is tops, but because of this it can be a bit noisy. Best place for couples is at the bar which isolates you from the main noise from groups at the tables. Food is excellent, they have a huge wine list & the service as you'd expect is first-class. Must book if you want to go in peak-times.

This really is a great place. A brasserie in the "french" style. I arrived on Tuesday evening without a booking. I was alone. There were no tables as the place is constantly busy so I sat at the bar. It was great fun. The filet was perfect, as were the two Manhattan cocktails - and the service was kind, attentive... More
