Description: Café Noir is a long-established bistro in the heart of Tel Aviv's city...
Café Noir is a long-established bistro in the heart of Tel Aviv's city, strategically placed between the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and Rothschild Boulevard. It's considered aninstitution by Tel Avivians, and our regular customers are business and media people, artists and in fact anyone who appreciates a terrific atmosphere and good food.Cafe Noir extends over two levels, offering a choiceof intimate sitting areas and spacious seating that's equally suitable for businessmeetings or family celebration. The décor comprises dark wood furniture in classicstyle, a spacious and inviting bar, with oil paintings on the walls and art objects arranged on surrounding shelves. Soft lighting effects create the perfect dining atmosphere. On fine days we have outside seating so guests can watch the bustling life on the streets of Tel - Aviv.Café Noir is busy throughout the day and until the small hours – some enjoying a hearty breakfast, others dropping in for a business meeting, and later evening drinks at thebar. We offer a rich menu – such as our lunchtime starter of liver pate with pear confit, sirloin Carpaccio, and chilli shrimps. For main courses, it's a tough decision choosing between our renowned Café Noir schnitzels - chicken breast, pork, or milk-fed veal - and the meat dishes, lamb kebabs, hamburgers, entrecote. Fish, salads and seafood are always reliable options.

These guys know what they are doing. Food is fresh and tasty - really great. The service is immaculate. really responsive and high level. there is a difficulty to find parking near the place, but once there you can enjoy a beautiful stroll on Rothchild Blvd.

This restaurant has been consistently excellent for many years...The famous schnitzels are huge and utterly delicious. Service is friendly and polite and the lunchtime menu is reasonably priced.

Biggest and best schnitzel, a little European dining in Tel Aviv with great musical playlist. We ordered half a bottle of wine, and 2 schnitzel dinners which came with mashed potatos and side salads. Along with the schnitzel they brought a spicy mustard and 2 other possible accompaniments. Yes, they have Tabasco, and chicken schnitzel is served with lemon. It... More

Our first dinner in Israel was at this restaurant. This is a cozy romantic restaurant within walking distance of our hotel (Rothschild). The food was excellent as was the service. We had a fun evening there.

Cafe Noir has a combination of great food, wonderful service and a nice, quiet atmosphere. Weekend brunches are highly recommended. The place has been around for years, and has managed to maintain the same high level of service and food - not an easy feat in Tel Aviv's dynamic restaurant market.

This restaurant has an elegant but neighborhood feeling. I eat there often, especially for quiet celebrations with friends. The appetizers are amazingly good: sometimes I have two and skip the main course. I would prefer you not go there because it's small and I don't want it to be overcrowded. At the same time, they've been open for at least... More

Great atmosphere. Serves a variety of absolutely delicious portions. I know the place for over 10 years. Tries pretty much all the portions. ALL are very very good. Lamb Kebab for a starter is one of my favorites. And the chicken Schnitzel IS the most famous plate, and a great value for your money. I love the Tiramisu for dessert

I took the wife and kids for a brunch. The food was superb (from steak-and-eggs through a french toast to several cakes and other pastries). The place is very pleasant and accommodates little kids very well.
