Description: Café Noir is a long-established bistro in the heart of Tel Aviv's city...
Café Noir is a long-established bistro in the heart of Tel Aviv's city, strategically placed between the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and Rothschild Boulevard. It's considered aninstitution by Tel Avivians, and our regular customers are business and media people, artists and in fact anyone who appreciates a terrific atmosphere and good food.Cafe Noir extends over two levels, offering a choiceof intimate sitting areas and spacious seating that's equally suitable for businessmeetings or family celebration. The décor comprises dark wood furniture in classicstyle, a spacious and inviting bar, with oil paintings on the walls and art objects arranged on surrounding shelves. Soft lighting effects create the perfect dining atmosphere. On fine days we have outside seating so guests can watch the bustling life on the streets of Tel - Aviv.Café Noir is busy throughout the day and until the small hours – some enjoying a hearty breakfast, others dropping in for a business meeting, and later evening drinks at thebar. We offer a rich menu – such as our lunchtime starter of liver pate with pear confit, sirloin Carpaccio, and chilli shrimps. For main courses, it's a tough decision choosing between our renowned Café Noir schnitzels - chicken breast, pork, or milk-fed veal - and the meat dishes, lamb kebabs, hamburgers, entrecote. Fish, salads and seafood are always reliable options.

The price is reasonable, the atmosphere is magical, and the service is great. The cheese cake was disappointing..

The sun managed to break through a winter's day and the position on the corner with old Tel Aviv buildings was magical. Coupled with cava + orange cocktails alongside smoked salmon on challa toast with hollandaise sauce was superb. The coffees at the end were among the best - I never say the best, gets into an argument.

Visited the Cafe Noir (43 Ahad Ha'am) on our first night in Tel Aviv, as it was within an easy walking distance. It was recommended to us by friends and it was 'on the list' - now I can tick it off✅ It's a lovely decorated place, a la French bistro, with few framed pictures, dark wood tiny tables and... More

Café noir is located in a very pleasant area of Tel Aviv - all the streets around it teem with beautiful Bahaus buildings. The café itself is your typical Parisian brasserie. It serves good, home-style food. It is famous for its veal schnitzel, though the best dish I had there was a delicious meat tartar and aioli bruschetta. Nice vibe,... More

First visit to Cafe Noir, based on the warm recommendation by a family member, with special emphasis on their "star" dish. For my life, I can not sing the praise of a pricey, beat to.... paper thin slice of beef, the size of a basketball court, fried to almost crunchy crisp. We had two veal and one chicken. In my... The atmosphere is very very good, and food used to be great too. Recent years have seen the quality of the food deteriorate and I would say there are better choices nowadays for a good dinner. That said, food is still not bad at all - but prices are pretty high, so value for money is not good.

The food we chose was original, fusion-type and very tasty and well-prepared. The restaurant is pretty, a bistro with a pleasant atmosphere. The service was rather poor and pretentious. As one of us remarked: "they give you the feeling you must be glad they serve you". I would go back for the good food, but if they don't get their... More
