Description: Café Noir is a long-established bistro in the heart of Tel Aviv's city...
Café Noir is a long-established bistro in the heart of Tel Aviv's city, strategically placed between the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and Rothschild Boulevard. It's considered aninstitution by Tel Avivians, and our regular customers are business and media people, artists and in fact anyone who appreciates a terrific atmosphere and good food.Cafe Noir extends over two levels, offering a choiceof intimate sitting areas and spacious seating that's equally suitable for businessmeetings or family celebration. The décor comprises dark wood furniture in classicstyle, a spacious and inviting bar, with oil paintings on the walls and art objects arranged on surrounding shelves. Soft lighting effects create the perfect dining atmosphere. On fine days we have outside seating so guests can watch the bustling life on the streets of Tel - Aviv.Café Noir is busy throughout the day and until the small hours – some enjoying a hearty breakfast, others dropping in for a business meeting, and later evening drinks at thebar. We offer a rich menu – such as our lunchtime starter of liver pate with pear confit, sirloin Carpaccio, and chilli shrimps. For main courses, it's a tough decision choosing between our renowned Café Noir schnitzels - chicken breast, pork, or milk-fed veal - and the meat dishes, lamb kebabs, hamburgers, entrecote. Fish, salads and seafood are always reliable options.

Gooood schnitzels :-)

It is the schnitzel place of Tel Aviv - it is nice, lively, friendly and I'm sure for those who do not want schnitzels that the rest of the menu will allow them to find their treat. We had a great evening there.

You are on your own and ask for a table and they offer the bar but your u say no but they insist and you still say no but they make it clear that none of the currently empty tables are suitable for a person on their own. Then don't you hate it when you like your steak cooked blue... More

The cappuccino and mousse that I had at Café Noir were unforgettable. The chocolate mousse is one of the best I’ve ever tasted in any country, and mousse paired alongside a good cup of coffee lead to an unexpected heavenly flavor of coffee/cocoa decadence. The whipped cream on top of the chocolate mouse added only... http://bit.ly/1G30UkC

I ate here because I was told that Cafe Noir has the best snitzel in tel aviv. Although I can't really attest to that fact, I wasn't disappointed. The restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. And it offers chicken, veal and pork(surprise) snitzel. All served with salad and mashed potatoes. Of course, there is a much more extensive menu than... More

Classic French restaurant feel with decent food selection. Schnitzel and burgers are good as well as liquor menu. Recommend.

This place was recommended to use for the schnitzel which was very good. We also shared a Druze/kebob appetizer and Israeli wine. The building and indoor atmosphere give the restaurant a vintage feel from the 1940s which is very cozy and European. Our bartender/waiter was very friendly and gave us helpful tips for our trip.

The price is reasonable, the atmosphere is magical, and the service is great. The cheese cake was disappointing..
