Description: Café Noir is a long-established bistro in the heart of Tel Aviv's city, strategically placed between the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange and Rothschild Boulevard. It's considered aninstitution by Tel Avivians, and our regular customers are business and media people, artists and in fact anyone who appreciates a terrific atmosphere and good food.Cafe Noir extends over two levels, offering a choiceof intimate sitting areas and spacious seating that's equally suitable for businessmeetings or family celebration. The décor comprises dark wood furniture in classicstyle, a spacious and inviting bar, with oil paintings on the walls and art objects arranged on surrounding shelves. Soft lighting effects create the perfect dining atmosphere. On fine days we have outside seating so guests can watch the bustling life on the streets of Tel - Aviv.Café Noir is busy throughout the day and until the small hours – some enjoying a hearty breakfast, others dropping in for a business meeting, and later evening drinks at thebar. We offer a rich menu – such as our lunchtime starter of liver pate with pear confit, sirloin Carpaccio, and chilli shrimps. For main courses, it's a tough decision choosing between our renowned Café Noir schnitzels - chicken breast, pork, or milk-fed veal - and the meat dishes, lamb kebabs, hamburgers, entrecote. Fish, salads and seafood are always reliable options.

Yesterday I took my girlfriend for a romantic dinner. I booked a table in advance for 1915 in order to get in no problem and have a quiet time. I had been there before and enjoyed the Shnitzel which is apparently the best thing on the menu here. As I opened the door to let my girlfriend enter ahead of... More

I love the atmosphere, provided that I find a table inside (the balcony seating is less likable, in my opinion). When I lunch there, I often order their Viennese schnitzel (veal or chicken breast - both are very good). Very pleasant for a leisurely breakfast.

A classic bistro that never gets old with its exciting range of daily special. It is however hard to stay away from its famed Schnitzel.

We just grabbed a quick breakfast here. The quality of everything we had was great- the service as well as the food. The croissant was crispy, the juice was freshly squeezed and the coffee was excellent. Good option for the morning. They mentioned they do business lunches and dinners- looking forward to try if i get a chance to get... More

Our hotel recommended Cafe Noir, and we were not disappointed. It is a bistro in the Parisian sense with intimate tables, and a great sidewalk for people-watching. It has a solid selection of Israeli wines, and a good menu. As noted in the other reviews, the schnitzel is very popular, we chose other items. The fig-eggplant appetizer deserves special mention... Returned recently to Cafe Noir, one of my favorites in Tel Aviv for many years. The food isn't particularly exciting or creative -- in fact, what I like best about it is the sort of comfort-food feel. Partly this is due to the fact that they make perhaps the best schnitzel in Tel Aviv -- huge portions, incredibly flat, crunchy,... More

We had a Friday brunch at Cafe Noir, it was lovely!food was tasty and the service was great. We were offered refill of bread and other things of their breakfast, the bread and buns are fresh and the smell is wonderful. By the way it is also a great place for dinner, although we did not had our dinner there... More

The food was really wonderful....French bistro with a Meditteranean twist. Indoor and outdoor seating, nice presentation, close to our hotel.
