Can't get enough of this place!

I am back at the Hilton in Tel Aviv and part of my excitement about being back here at the Hilton is Yakimono. It was my first stop after checking in. Their sushi is great as is everything else I have had on the menu here. Service is always friendly and attentive, as it was yesterday. I plan on... read more

waited a long time to eat at this restaurant known to be excellent but also very expensive. Finally on family occasion, this was the choice. Never have I been so underwhelmed with the inexperienced service from a waitress who explained absolutely nothing to us, couldn't answer questions, took hours to bring anything, gave our wine to another table and took... While being guests of friends of the manager did have an influence on the overall quality of our experience, it was easy to see that the amazing food and service and atmosphere provided was of the highest standards. As vegetarians, my wife and I don't eat sushi often, but when we do it's usually a few California rolls or something... More

It's my 5th time with my family. But this time was different. Something is not working as before. I always enjoyed the artistic presentation of the food, the complexity of tastes and ingredients .But not this time. The sea fruit soup was tasteless and almost no sea fruits inside. The sushi was good but the presentation was like at my... More

I like this place. I usually order Miso Soup, a California Roll, Fried Rice, and a couple of Sea Bass Skewers. I have become quite addicted to these items at Yakimono. Always fresh, prepared just right, and tasty. The service for me has always been very good. I look forward to dining here many more times when I return to... More

A total mistake walking into this fancy overpriced restaurant which charges about $10 for a bottle of water with no other option for table water available. The price of the sushi dishes considering the miniscule size of the portions was outrageous. The price for 3 people for lunch without wine or desert, not including tip, and leaving the meal hungry... We were highly recommended by the hotel to eat at Yakimono and to be honest i was just Ok. The food was average and quite expensive, service was good perhaps because there were only about 12 people in the restaurant. Would I rush back, no.

Yakimono is considered one of Israel's top Japanese restaurants. I visited the restaurant twice in the last 4 weeks. Food is very mediocre, all rice plates (including Sushi) were made using molds. The result is cold, pressed and tasteless food. This is food one would expect (and avoid) from a low cost supermarket. Non fish dishes were a bit better... More
