Wonderful beer selection and great bar offerings. Hamburgers to spareribs. Parking is a problem, but well worth the hunt. Dark woods and lighting give the place a great ambiance.
We went after a recommendation. The selection of beers is excellent and the food was very good too. I would definitely go again.
Porter and sons is a unique restaurant. I ate here a few times and always enjoyed the food, the lively atmosphere and the pleasant service. Along large portions served for main course, there is usually a good range of smaller tapas dishes that change from time to time. There is an amazing range of beer (50 draft lines - always... More
Great value, fantastic food Lovely place, good food. Tatsey first and main courses (we shared the first courses). Great! Wide range of beer from all over the world. Generous portions. All in all: Beer food and company were excellent. My only remark is: the place is a bit dark. I shall highly recommend it to friends, family and … to... More
Porter and sons is a beer lovers dream...sort of. Billed as having the most beers on tap in Tel Aviv (or Israel maybe), it has something like 55 beers on tap and another 50 or so in the fridge. The selection is not massively broad. It consists of a few American favorites (Sam Adams), some local Israeli beer (Negev, etc..)... More
A solid place, rather non typical for an israeli barf. the crowd is a rather boring blend, but they ARE very serious when it comes to beer. They have a huge selection and a professional attitude to their beer- and belong if i am not mistaken to one of the local beer distributors. listen to me and sit on the... More
Last visit they did a mistake in our bill. We were too drunk to find out what exactly... Not nice. Former visits everything was great
Porter and Sons has a huge selection of beer. There are dozens of beers of every type, and the food is above average for a beer place, so you won't be disappointed. The place is fairly spacious, there is no loud music, and it's located right in the center of Tel Aviv. I've been there a couple of times and... More
Nicest pub in Tel Aviv area. Large selection of draft beers, but missing some Irish brands (where are you Guinness and Kilkenny?). And the calamari is excellent, especially from the specials lists.
We have enjoyed the food (especially the delicious sausages and salads) a number of times over the years. Service was always excellent. Recently I reserved a farewell dinner table a day before for 7pm and requested a window-side booth table. The guy answering said they would try but couldn't guarantee (they have at least 5 or 6 booths). What the... More
Dear Harold, First, I'd like to thank you for your positive input. And I'm sorry that the seating arrangement was a deal- breaker for your party. We strive daily to do everything we can to assure our customers get what they want. Creating a reservation seating chart for dinner service is not always as simple as it looks ,and there... More
