after a play at the camera we decided not to fight the traffic getting out of the parking lot but rather sit at hadar ochel for a nightcap and some of their totally awesome eggplant spread. we ordered two cocktails, a margarita and a fruity arak drink. both were good, fresh and with plenty of... read more

Business lunch at the Dining hall just across from the Israel opera in Tel Aviv. A kibbutz-style dining room in a modern minimalist design. The kitchen is run by chef Omer Miller's interpretations of Israeli staples. I started with Ikra, an Eastern European fish roe starter served with red onions and a freshly baked home bread served with two dippings.... More

I have taken foreign work guests to The dining hall restaurant on a few occasions and have always been surprised by the service and the food. I recomend it to anyone who enjoys good food (which should be everyone :) )

Hadar Ochel/Dining Hall is located in the center of Tel-Aviv. It is surrounded by several cultural sites - museums and theatre halls. Service is very professional and pleasant. Food is delicious. Fresh and tasty. Atmosphere is nice and unique.

The restaurant seems to have embodied all the negative aspects of the traditional dining hall experience. For a start, the service was horrible. The orders were either confused or forgotten by our waitress. The waitress subsequently did not admit to the mistakes. Many of the dishes were not cooked properly. The chicken breast was actually raw. What should have been... More

Went on Saturday afternoon to this restaurant, located at the Center for Stage Arts and close to the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, In spite of the relatively late hour for lunch (it was past 4 P.M when we entered) the place was full with late afternoon Saturday diners and very noisy. By the time we have arrived the most... More

Once again, returned to Hadar Ochel (its just very close to where I work)... I have nothing great (or good0 to say about this place. Everything about this place is average - the food, the service... I have no idea why it is always so crowded... Maybe its because of their business lunch deal - its not expensive... A very... More

Recently, we had a large family get together including a couple of children and a couple of infants. Hadar Ochel was a perfect spot being very child friendly. They offer a children's menu, have a play area. The restaurant design is modeled on the dining room of a kibbutz with communal tables , big pitchers of water placed on the... More

We were on a Friday night before entering the opera nearby. It was very crowded and we got a table only due the fact that I accidentally found a friend I know who is working there. The potions are small and not cheap. There was a mistake with our order, and they were kind enough not the charge it. Overall,... More

This is only my second time at Hadar Ochel , the name translates to Dining Hall, and I have decided to make it a tradition since I absolutely love this place. My first visit was with a friend and we shared lots of small plates tapas style. This time around I visited the restaurant with my cousins and two business... More
