It's on Solomon street off of Ben Yehuda. We eat outside int their... More

You cannot ask for a more charming atmosphere in an historical site. Unfortunately the Restaurant hasn't progressed since the 90s. Average food, average service and prices at one of Jerusalem's serene cultural sites. Enjoy Anna Ticho's art while you are there, in Jerusalem's city center.

I haven't eaten here--though from what it looks like, they don't need help in that department. I'm here to say that the buildings history and art exhibits are wonderful and worth visiting. It wasn't exactly what we were expecting: an insightful exhibit from one of Yemen's earliest photographers--who just happened to be a Jew! Really surprising and thoughtfully curated.

Tucked behind bustling Yaffo Road and the light rail is the Anna Ticho House. A renown artist whose husband was a famous ophthalmologist Ticho recreated their Viennese heritage in a wonderful house surrounded by a garden full of trees and flowering bushes. Along with the house and an established collection there are always new exhibits to view before or after... More

A typical Israel brunch - eggs (any style) with all the trimmings. The eggs cooked well, however the accompaniments portions were too large for one person and could do for two, as a result there was a lot of waste. After brunch stroll through this small museum and enjoy the permanent exhibits, which give a good sense of history.

This is a location with a very special history. The food served at Beit Ticho is kosher but some of the dishes are quite boring. Starters on the other hand are very nice. Friendly service and prices are moderate. Live music in the weekends!

We have dined at Ticho House for years on our annual visits to Israel. Service is prompt and the menu is geared to accommodate every diner from children up to the connoisseur. My favorite is the pumpkin ravioli in a racula sauce. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere (choice of outside under the stars or indoors including some private party... More
