The location is great, right across from the Inbal. The food was very good and the service was even better. You can't go wrong at this eatery. And the price was reasonable

Excellent food. Good service. Open for lunch and Dinner. Typical Israeli full meal. The best chicken shnitzel in town.

This is a good alternative to the nearby pricy hotel meals. Everything is a la carte. The food was good, as well as the service. Portions were very large..

This is a superb restaurant with nouvelle cuisine prepared and presented beautifully. The tuna tartar with marinated red beets was a spectacular blend of presentation, the main course well balanced and satisfying, the fondant a wonderful end to the dinner, and a superb Israeli wine (Gamla cabernet-merlot blend) accompanied everything like a cozy blanket. Not cheap, but the quality of... More

As the name implies order fish, although there are meat options as well! My personal favorite is the whole St. Peters fish, fresh from the Kinneret, lake in Tiberias-2 hours north. Always prepared to perfection and served with side dishes.

Grilled trout was prepared perfectly! So were all the other aspects of the meal including the lovely, pleasant waitress who was personable and attentive. The location of Olive and Fish is easily accessible to many areas with numerous hotels and the Old City within walking distance. We had been given a coupon for a 10 percent discount which the waitress... More

The menu has quite a few fish choices and we all ordered different ones. They all were done to perfection and the service was not by experienced waiter but it was followed up by a nice waitress who did her best. They didn't want the tip on the credit card for obvious reasons and as we were treating business people... More

The menu is quite nice, a bit on the international direction, the decor pleasent reminiscent of sixties. A simple warning, never go in if you see only one waitress inside. She might get very tense and become rigid up to the degree that one starts to think about leaving the restaurant right away.

When we're in Israel we eat out often and prefer fresh grilled fish. We've eaten in numerous restaurants in Jerusalem and this was simply the BEST. The staff was attentive and very friendly. The trout was superbly grilled and seasoned. The restaurant is in a great location, right across from the Inbal hotel, Liberty Bell Garden and Montefiore Windmill. If... More

I went on a busy evening but was seated upstairs quickly. The service was a bit more attentive than other Israeli restaurants in town and the food was really good. I was disappointed that the wine list did not include a nice Israeli Rose. Very convenient to the Inbal.
