I was surprised to read some of the reviews about it being dirty. On the contrary, the owner (who also doubles as the cook) washed his hands constantly and everything seemed very hygienic. The falafels were freshly made as was the hummus. We had the stuffed pita and it was just divine. It is an easy walk from the hotels... More

We had a Jerusalem plate, on our first day of 12 day Israel/Egypt vacation. At the end of the vacation, my girlfriend jokingly solemnly stated: "Jerusalem plate, you will stay forever in my heart" : ) In other words, it was the best felafel that we had on the trip, or that I have had on my multiple visits to... The operator touches everything with his hands and never washes him. Right before he made our dish, he was busy handling the garbage with his hands deep inside the bin. From there he went straight into our pita, rubbing his bare hands all over it. Absolutely disgusting.

I went there after the good reviews but it was quite a disappointment. Nothing out of the ordinary and the people working there are rude. But the owner is probably a great guy, since he has so many friends willing to write such good reviews for him...

Excellent, small and local falafel cafe with a fantastically friendly owner. Hands down the best falafel we have ever tasted and made fresh in front of us! There is limited seating in doors, but a large relaxing garden out the back. Absolutely perfect for a chilled out lunch, and right opposite the Mamilla shopping mall in the centre of town.... More

At Bebo's Felafel Restaurant you can get more than felafel. We rarely go out, but when we do, this is our favorite place in town for a relaxed meal in the back garden - quiet, clean, pleasant, perfect service. And the food is FRESH and delicious. Wonderful!

Freshly, made to order Falafel that is tastey, delicious and cheap. Mmmmm, wish I was back in Jerusalem right now. A little hard to find but not impossible. Definitely worth the effort.

This is not your quick in and out falafel place. It may take 5 minutes for him to freshly fry your falafel and chips but it is very worth it! There is nothing like warm fresh falafel and chips in your pita with nice fresh salads. My favorite falafel in Israel.

Tempted by AKress's review (and also because Bebo's Falafel was close to where we stayed), went there with my daughter for our very first breakfast upon arriving to Jerusalem. The place is home-like and intimate. First it looked like there's only one small room with a counter and a citchen; but after we said we want to have our meals... More

Bebo's falafel is by far the best falafel in downtown Jerusalem (rivaled only by French Hill Falafel near Hebrew University). The owner makes the falafel fresh in front of you, scoops the hummus out of the food processor he just made it in, his ingredients are fresh and delicious, the pita is incredible and it only costs 12 shekels. Go,... More
