The best

Fantastic Kuba, bean dish, fish. Extremely fast and friendly wait staff. Well priced. My favorite place for hummus too.

I go there for one thing only. The hummus with whole cooked chickpeas without anything but salads. For 15 shekels it's a full meal in a pita without anything fancy but really delicious.

Its a good meal - but nothing special. Make sure to order Kuba Hamusta soup. Especially on a cold day.

I don't know if it's the best hummus or not, but it's really good. Our hotel was nearby so we stopped in and found a jewel. Sammy could tell we were new in Jerusalem and made suggestions on what to eat and then came by to show us which sauces went with which food. The place would have been good,... More

I have been visiting Israel for 35 years and have eaten hummus throughout the county. In my opinion the hummus at the original Pinati branch in King George street is the best hands down. The atmosphere only adds to the flavor. Try it "full" with olive oil, parsley, beans and warm chick peas on top. The Best!

Thirty years in, the winner of jerusalem's Humous wars is NOT Pinati, contrary to the claims of diehards. It all started when they went franchise and now, even the original branch on King George disappoints. I am not happy to share this because it has provided many moments of joy in the past. With the drop of lentil soup from... More

This unassuming little hole in the wall has the best food that kept us coming back for more. The hummus is some of the best in Jerusalem… The Kibbeh soup had us returning everyday. Sammy made us feel like family and always had a hug or a hand shack. Great Shakshuka and schnitzel too.

The original Pinati on King George street serves its exact same signature hummus years on end. I would not recommend any other branch.

The original Pinati on King George street has been there for decades. The food is always fresh and the hummus is fantastic. Very tasty and not watered down. Get it with the ground meat and you'll be very pleased.

so a good hummus is a big deal to every israeli. there is always an ongoing battle as to where is the best hummus and I think Pinati takes the lead here. It's in the city center so again super accessible, and the walls are full of pictures of famous celebrities who came in to eat there. The slogan of... More
