Trendy, delicious pasta in the shuk

Stumbled upon this small pasta eatery on the edge of the shuk in Jerusalem. Delicious homemade pastas and sauces, you create your own combo and they make it to order very quickly. Some seating, good people watching, and great pasta!

This place makes their actual pasta on site, homemade and fresh. The sauces are great and the price is decent. Located in the market.

Always fresh, always tasty, always timely and aways a good value for the shekel! Choose your pasta, your favorite sauce and your good to go. As their house wine and you'll enjoy the machaneh yehuda experience that much more.

This restaurant was recommended to us by a handful of locals and we saw the great reviews on TripAdvisor. We don't know what the long lines are about. It's just a regular pasta joint that is okay in terms of price but not too amazing in terms of flavor or quality. We tried the beetroot sauce and coconut milk with... More

We got fresh pasta with rosa sauce and mozzarella, fettuccine Bolognese, and pasta with pesto sauce and onions at lunchtime. Hot, fresh, made-to-order. No complaints here. SO fun to customize your dish and very quality pasta! Beware that it is very difficult to find seating at peak hours when its packed.

This is a must place to eat if you are in the Machane Yehuda Market! Great selection of pastas (fresh!) and sauces which taste delicious! They also have soups which are out of this world! To top it off, the value can't be beat. A pasta dish is as low as 19 shekel, and the soups are 15 shekel! The... More

I see the place all the time since I work nearby, but it's always very crowded so I didn't get the chance to order there. Once I had, I understood that it was nothing to wait for. The place indeed looks very hip, but it's always fully packed and you have to look for a place to sit (or stand)... More

It's a simple place but I'm never disappointed with my meal at Pasta Basta either in the Shuk in Jerusalem or in Shuk HaCarmel in Tel Aviv. It's a nice atmosphere in the Jerusalem location and it's not expensive to add beer or wine (or dessert!) to your meal. The chocolate mousse is excellent. My favorite pasta sauce is the... More

There is no place to sit. Once you ordered your food, good luck with finding a place sit. Accept this, awsome place.
