This may just be my favorite restaurant ever. Right by the Jerusalem open air food market, the ingredients are fresh, local and ever changing with the seasons. Take a stroll through the market before your dinner. The atmosphere and staff and food were so lively! From the music to the decorations to the upbeat staff. It's an experience and the... More

in my opinion best time to visit for dinner is Saturday night. walk through a nice neighborhood and have a perfect menu tasting. Real Jerusalem experience. If you are alone go across the street in their bar.

On our last day in Jerusalem we reserved a table (also a sitting at the long bar option) at Machneyuda a trendy eatery in the heart of the Machne Yehuda market (shuk) in Jerusalem. Machneyuda is managed by three Jerusalem chefs with impressive resumes: Asaf Granit, Yossi Elad and Uri Navon. You need a reservation and they are very strict... More

We drifted into the restaurant as we toured the nearby market of the same name. From the welcoming atmosphere to our seat at the bar to food and service it was a beautiful experience. The wine recommendation was great. The food is phenomenal. It is fresh, local produce. The menu is fun and well put together. We would recommend this... More

Go for the tasters menu! (come hungry because the amount of food you are going to receive is ridiculous)

I usually don't get excited about restaurants but this is really outstanding. Tip: the 2nd floor gallery can't be beat. Can't waiti to go back. Note: reserve well in advance.

We were recommended to this place by my wife's daughter. Since she is batting 100% with recommendations, we were thrilled to find a new place. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. Our waiter, Jamie, was attentive, helpful, and also very funny during the whole meal. he took great pride in the quality of the food... More

We sat at the bar (based on the recommendation when booking our reservation) and it was such a treat. We were taken care of by the bartender/waiter and, besides being steered toward some of the best food we've ever had, we were also repeatedly given shots of alcohol (on the house). Nothing that we ate the entire evening was less... More

Started on the wrong foot, although we had reservation almost 2 months in advance the hostess tried to sit us on the bar ( which is the right place to be in this restaurant) but in the section where the waiters take the food and service... It took too much of an argument until we got replacement sitting to use... More
