I heard very enthusiastic recommendations on this restaurant, unfortunately, it did not meet my expectations. There is a nice atmosphere but a very common style in such restaurant in Israel, nothing special. The food was ok but with these prices, I would expected to be special or at least very good. The service was also ok but not outstanding to... More

We were very tired and really chilled when we found this place. When entering this restaurant you feel really pleasant and home-alike atmosphere. Stylish and comfy interior. Service is just like your mother offers you a variety of your favourite dishes. And that dishes will become your favourite, trust me! Awesome!

This is, in our opinion, the best restaurant for meat in Jerusalem. Subtle, perfectly prepared fois gras and Rossini steak. Amazing place. Great wine selection. Not cheap but well worth the price.

We've eaten at some of the best restaurants in Atlanta, New York, LA, Las Vegas, Paris, Hawaii and more. Canela was one the best meals we've ever had!! The staff was attentive and friendly, the service was quick, the bread was delicious, the foie gras was amazing not to mention the biggest portion we've ever seen. We had duck and... More

We visited this restaurant in a side street off Jaffa Street in Jerusalem with relatives requiring kosher food. The menu of the restaurant is quite attractive with a good variation of meat, fish and vegetable dishes, but varying from ´not cheap´ to ´pricy´.. Also the wine list has a good choice but the prices of the wine were really too... More

I made a dinner reservation at Canela but on this occasion it wasn't necessary. We were the only diners in the restaurant the entire time we were there, which was quite strange as the restaurant next store was full. The waitress said they had been busy at lunchtime. We assumed that diners were turned off by Canela's prices, which do... More

After being in Israel for almost two weeks, every meal is an experience. This has really been the best experience. The waitress was amazing, she steered us toward the best food on the menu. We had a taster main course of five meats, wow. It was amazing. The wine list has alot of boutique wineries. This restaurant is well worth... More

Coming into the restaurant, they pretended to have lost my reservation. Over the phone, no one knows your 19. Even though I saw it on the screen. They eventually seated me and 30 seconds after the menu they aske me if I was ready to order. I barely had a chance to open it. Appetizers ranged from about 40-90 NIS.... More
