Located at 36 Emek Refaim St. in Jerusalem, Caffit is a lovely, little cafe. It offers patio seating, outside (sidewalk) seating, and indoor seating. The indoor seating is comfortable and air conditioned. Kashruth is Rabbanut. The restaurant serves dairy foods. We were hesitant to go there, because we had read too many reviews that said the service was not so... More

This is where local artists meet their parents and other funding sources to drink morning coffee in a (usually) relaxed atmosphere. The coffee is delicious and the food also is good, especially the salads and soups. Caffit is in the heart of the Moshava Germanit (German Colony), a lively area with a fascinating history, plenty of grocery and wine shops,... More

Did not expect this heat in Jerusalem but after a very long walk we stopped into.caffit. Their iced coffee slush is delicious and refreshing. We just had drinks but it was a very nice experience and all the food that was served around us looked yummy

We ended up filling a room with all of us so it was like a private event! The salad was soooo good. I shared their signature salad with asparagus with a friend. Also ordered the roasted cauliflower. Portions were large. Service was slow but we were having fun so no worries.

We enjoyed greek salads- crisp veggies and plenty of creamy feta! Cappuccinos were also delicious. Service was poor, she forgot water and our take out request but overseeing manager was nice to step in and assist.

My husband and I had dinner at Caffit during a visit to Jerusalem. We waited for over half an hour for one of our entrees and received no apology. We were largely ignored (no checking on our dinner or offering a second drink) despite a large staff largely standing around. No quality of the overpriced food could make up for... More

Had great dinner at Caffit last week. My husband had some mushroom and cheese dish and said it was delicious. I had grilled salmon on skewers and it was perfect. Kids loved their pasta cream sauce.

I hope the experience I had was just bad luck. We were a party of 6. Most of us were pleased with their orders. One of the orders was Salmon however the waiter came out with a white fish (I think Bass). He insisted that Israeli Salmon was white and not pink/orange (I would have at least thought blue and... Caffit used to be one of our favorite places to eat in Jerusalem. We ate there weekly during Oct and Nov 2013. The service was always attentive, but there was new wait staff every week. Food started out very good, and we tried almost everything on the menu. Portions were huge, even enough for 3 people to share one entree.... More

We used to love eating at caffit before they moved across the street. The new menu is not as good, the service not as good and they make a big deal about their new chef, whose food isn't outstanding and whose photograph on every table is not appetizing! Given the prices they charge, the food should be better. As with... More
