This is a lovely little restaurant very close to the Old City and Mamilla shopping district. The food is excellent. My wife and I dined at Katy's at the suggestion of the concierge at the David Citadel. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner, Katy, and given an outdoor table on the promenade. The appetizers of asparagus and... More

Small, quaint, and intimate this restaurant offered several delightful continental cuisine choices. My duck with cherry sauce was scrumptious. My husband felt the same about the lamb he ordered. Service was attentive; the wine recommended by the waiter was an Israeli wine that we thoroughly enjoyed. It complemented both dishes well and was reasonably priced. Looking for a non-kosher restaurant... More

Simply excellent, Charming restaurant. Owner operated with terrific food and service. Well worth the price. We are a highly critical family and could find nothing to complain about Katy served the first good drink since I've been in Israel. The soups were homemade and delicious. The asparagus was fresh and tasty. We had a few schnitzel orders both veal and... More

On a recent visit to the Holy Land we stumbled upon Katy's and it was so good we went back two nights later. Katy waited on us herself and was very attentive. She loves to chat and tell her stories. The food was delicious and the wine she selected for us was wonderful. Thank you Katy for two wonderful evenings!

Chef is highly creative. Food is excellent. Pleasant outdoor eating area. Service is mediocre. Prices are very high. If your foodie, and don't mind the high prices, its worth a visit.

Our party of 5 was told of this restaurant by a local tour guide, always a good sign. It's appealing because it is open during Shabat. Our server was a nice middle-aged man. This is a fine-dining establishment and, as such, we were not rushed in any way. We were served water and their delicious brioche to start with. Our... More

The food and drinks are way over-priced. The owner Katy came to our table, and when she realized we weren't going to spend a lot of money, she was very rude to us. We were the only ones in the entire restaurant (while all the surrounding restaurants were packed), and she actually sat across from us, watching us the whole... More

The food is very good, in particular the seared foie gras and the duck breast. The service is a little funky (mostly the owner). Our big gripe is that there is no wine list. The owner takes you over to a table and tells you to pick your wines, but there are no prices. Maybe shame on me for not... More

Quiet romantic dinner with a fabulous owner/hostess sharing her life stories with us. Piping hot onion soup and delicious mushroom soup for my wife. The best veal schnitzel I ever tasted and my wife's Dorado fish was mouth watering. A plated assortment of fresh vegatables and a magnificent hash brown potato pancake. A poached pear in red wine with a... More

Owner and chef gave us personal attention..even prepared something that wasn't on the menu. Easy walk home to the King David Hotel.
