Located near the Jaffa gate, just up the road from the Tower of David on the right hand side. We ate in the courtyard area in the back, in the company of plants and mosaic tiled pictures. The food was excellent and fresh, for the most part, and the staff was so helpful.

A short distance from the Jaffa Gate in the center of the Armenian Quarter. A warm welcome on arrival .The food from a different world most delicious I ordered the meat with rice, served very nicely Best service I felt like a king, the service is always with a smile Even the restaurant manager passed to check whether everything is... My wife, son, daughter-in-law and I had dinner here on our first night in Jerusalem. It is easy to locate near the Jaffa Gate and the food was excellent. I had the chicken, it was great. Our server Ali was especially nice. Jack

I take teams of people here. I have for years. Love the food the friendly service and the location in the Armenian Quarter is very close to the Joffa gate. The Cabob's are the best... Chicken or lamb.

We visited here as part of a tour group, and we were not alone. We were welcomed warmly and the service was swift. The food was plentiful and consisted of various dishes all well cooked and tasty. Considering that there were a number of groups coming and going the staff managed well. The restaurant is of a type, catering for... More

We had a special event there, and the staff was very helpful and accommodating in making the arrangements for our group. We chose the restaurant because of its location in the Old City and the authentic atmosphere. The food was very good and plentiful, and the Armenian cuisine was interesting. The hummus was particularly good. The service was also good.

If you want a different dining experience try this restaurant in the Armenian Quarter. I was with a party and the restaurant was full of other parties so whether you'd get a meal if you were just a few people I don't know. But it's well worth a try.

If you are wating for something that is culturally interesting, please don't read the name of the restaurant "armenian restaurant" rather think that you are in the middle east and will eat exactly the same dishes than you ate all around in the arab or jewish oriental restaurant. And if you expect an intimate restaurant as it may look like... More

First Impressions: To reach Bulghourji, enter through Jaffa Gate and head NE along the Omar Ben el-Hatab Road and take the first right onto the Armenian Orthodox Patriarchate Street. The restaurant should be on your right side, near St. James Street. Still reeling from the bad experience we had at another restaurant down the street the day before, we chanced... More

We had lunch at this restaurant after weaving our way through the shopping streets of the Palestinian and Armenian Quarters. The food was delicious - lovely meze with lamb and chicken. We sat out in the covered courtyard which was very pretty.
