A bit quieter than other places, great food

In the Armenian quarter so a bit less frantic. Great selection of food and hummus a bit different from normal and delicious. Very attentive staff and our group well looked after. Very spacious rooms which are not apparent from the front. Take care leaving as you step right onto the road near a... read more

We enjoy eating at Bulghourji. Food is always good and waitstaff helpful. It is a fun place in the Old City.

The first thing I liked about this restaurant is the beautiful historic building. It is also a short walk from the Tower of David going into the Armenian Quarter. The interior has gorgeous medieval arches, vaulted ceilings that would immediately appeal to history buffs which is most visitors to Jerusalem. I was personally greeted by the Owner who had his... Very spacious rooms which are not apparent from the front. Take care leaving as you step right onto the road near a tunnel.

Found this place for the first time last week. We thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience. Armenian food is really good and this place serves really good Armenian food.

Nice atmosphere and the delicious courses kept coming. One of our party was disappointed there was no hummus, and pretty soon a waiter brought some just for our table.

We went with a group of about 15 people with great expectation and were a little disappointed. Very much a production line for similar tour groups, producing pretty stereotypical middle-eastern mezza. All the staff were rushed - coach queues at the toilets. Not a place I would plan to return to.

Amazing meal after a very rigorous morning of hiking down the streets of Old Jerusalem. The building was very historic with vaulted stone ceilings. Too cold for eating in the courtyard but later in the year would be very nice. Salad course was excellent. We thought that that would be all that would be served only to know that the... More

the food was tossed on the table family style but the food was average at best. I was not impressed. I am sure there are other places that were better.

Interesting trying out some Armenian food here in Jerusalem. When we were seated, the service staff brought out various types of dishes comprising mainly vegetable dishes. Thinking that this was the way they ate, we tucked into the food heartily only to realise that the main dish had not been served. Food was good and service was prompt.
