food was good but very expensive and not worth it

The first problem was that whenb we arrived there was a large party in the restaurant so they warned us that there might be a long delay between the starters and the main course. At least four things were missing on the menu, but they did tell us at the outset, instead of like some restaurants... read more

Best steaks we eat in Israel for sure. Served with mashed potatoes, caramelized onions and sweet red wine sauce! The restaurant was full of people but atmosphere was very exciting! The food was delicious and so tasty , presentation is so nice and stuff is so friendly !!! we definitely will come back again!!!! thank you!!!

We ordered leavers and wings for first dish. The leavers were bitter, when mentioned to the waitress- he said it has been made yesterday... The wings were cover with hair and has been heated in the microwave. The burger was ok American style, and the stake wad good but doesn't justified 180 nis.

We went to celebrate my son's birthday. The kids had steaks, over which they raved, and my chicken was tasty and very tender. Good attentive service, pleasant ambiance. Will definitely come back for a special occasion.

We've gone to just about every restaurant in Jerusalem and I have to say - Red Heifer has proven to be above them all. The waitress (don't know her name) was amazing:) She was super patient and sweet - and quick. The food did take a while, but we enjoyed chatting in the meantime. The menu may be short, but... More

We were there last week and my first impression on entering the restaurant was negative - the owner / manager was at the desk but did not interrupt himself to welcome us. That was left to the waiter. Waiting staff were very friendly and tried to be helpful but just aren't trained properly. Couldn't answer fairly basic questions about menu... More

Since reopening this restaurant is a great place to go when dining out in Jerusalem. The steaks are pricey by American standards but of great quality and the appetizers are good but a little skimpy.

I was there three times the first time it was warm, nice and the food was great. The second time it was no good we got old food and it was cold and it wasn't good. The third time it was good but small portions basically its like rolling a dice on $$$
