My spouse and I and another couple happened upon this restaurant while exploring Old Jerusalem during a free afternoon from our 11-day tour of Israel. Located near the Jaffa Gate in a lovely courtyard next to the New Imperial Hotel, Versavee has a gorgeous facade that drew us in immediately. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, the staff warm and... More

We stayed at New Imperial Hotel (recommended!) next door - so we were guests at Versavee several times - for very friendly atmosphere and ESPRESSO! If you are real espresso lover - that is probably the best place in Old Town if not in Jerusalem :-). Perfect creme and you can ask for short or long! You just need to... More

Inside the old city just near Jaffa Gate you can find this cozy and friendly Armenian place for a meal or a drink. We stopped for dinner and the food was great I had a lemonade maybe one of the best I had in Israel. The staff is very friendly and I must say I didn't find it too expensive... More

Me and my wife liked it a lot. It's a quite place and the food is very good. Don't miss the Armenian Sujok and the Baqdounsieh. The home-made lemonade was the best we've got in Israel.

The atmosphere is really great in this authentic mediterranean restaurant. The service was very good. The food was average and a little bland. Overall a very pleasant experience. It is just inside the Jaffa Gate and a very good place to relax and enjoy a bite. Strongly recommend the mixed grill. A very good Arabic salad.

After visiting the Tower of David Museum, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Western Wall on foot, we wanted to eat before we returned to our hotel( nothing open in our part of Jerusalem on Saturday). We looked at a few places near Jaffa gate- where we would get a taxi. This is a few steps down a... More

During our trip to Jerusalem, we dined at Versavee based on the menu which is a little more varied than many of the local restaurants. The restaurant is beautiful, very clean, the owner is very friendly and the food is fresh, very good and reasonably priced. We will be back.
