Excellent food, but expensive

I ate here recently with my husband and teenage daughter. The food was very good but expensive.I had the coq au vin which was very good. My daughter is a bit of a fussy eater and she liked it as well. My daughter ordered the tagliatelle with herb butter( I think) and it was very yummy. I ended up... read more

Our Israeli hosts said that the restaurant was (1) in the original art school of Jerusalem and (2) used to be a bar. Even without the strange pedigree, this restaurant had a very nice vibe with good food to go with. The tartare was wonderful as was the lamb and mushroom stew (with risotto).

I have been twice and in both times I suffered from the noise. The food was good but not above average. Service was very good.

Our family of five was on a private tour of Israel and dinner at Mona was our favorite meal here. This was a total package of great food served in a charming historical building, good people watching, and attentive service. It was rather expensive, but for this quality it was worth it. Highly recommend it!

We dined here on the recommendations I read on this website and also from our guide. We were very disappointed to say the least! Our waiter seemed to be training a new staff member who was following him around but unable to actually do anything helpful. Service was very erratic. The waiter acted like this was a fancy french restaurant... More

A wonderfully creative menu, well served, although a little on the pricey side. It was an unseasonably cold night, and customers kept going out to smoke between courses, opening a door right next to where we were sitting. The management locked the door to no avail. Smokers just unlocked it, and went out to smoke anyway. It really ruined the... More

Mona is located in a historical structure next to an art gallrey. The atmosphere is cosy and romantic. The food is superb, every dish is prepared with a lot of talent and knowledge. We had a amazing dinner there. Highly recommended!!!

Sometimes too trendy but the food is very good, nice atmosphere, good service. A bit pricey but it's worth it.
