I had the grilled tofu which was full of fresh flavours. The mushroom and seaweed pie was a bold and interesting choice that we liked but some may find odd. A lovely take on the middle Eastern classic majadra can be found here. Can recommend the Leffe blond beer and the tamarind drink is refreshing without being too sweet. Nice... More

I thought the food was only fair and it was really expensive for a plate of rice and vegetables. We were a party of four and everyone's food came 15 minutes before mine. It was awkward. No one wanted to start eating before I had my food but their food was getting cold. When my food finally came it wasn't... More

This restaurant is not easy to find. It's in the historic Confederation House in the beautiful landscaped area across from the Old City walls at the end of Emile Botta Street. Once you've found it, you are in for a treat. Unlike much of the pasta-heavy vegetarian food on offer in Jerusalem, this presents a colorful medley of interesting grain... More

Great restaurant for vegans and vegetarians. The tofu skewers with satay sauce were so tasty. I did not try my husbands stuffed peppers, because they had cheese in them, but he enjoyed. The salad we shared was very tasty and the sangria was delicious. We had a table by the open "window" which gave us a lovely view of the... More

Every time we visit Jerusalem, we meet friends for lunch at Te'enim. It is always a pleasant experience, with tasty food, bountiful portions and excellent service. The location, in the Zionist Confederation House, is a bit tricky to find, but if you use the King David Hotel as a guideline and walk behind it, it is not a problem. Before... More

This hidden restaurant is worth the search. The building and courtyard are lovely with the view to the walls of the Old City particularly striking. The service is pleasant and unhurried, the food varied, delicious, and well-prepared. This place deserves a visit whether to linger over coffee and one of the many cakes (vegan apricot is a must) or a... More

Ate here twice while in Jerusalem. You dont have to be a vegetarian to dine here. The food is fresh, delicious, imagainative and prepared with love and passion. The owner Verud (spelling might be off) is amazing...so warm and gratious. View is fantastic and ambience is peaceful. They treat you like family. You wont be disappointed. The desserts are out... I have reviewed this place before and I am glad to see that the food is as good as it was a year ago. I could not resist and had the steamed veggies again. Delicious. However, this time I discovered the vegan apricot cake. The slices are generous, but this did not stop me of ordering three. Delicious. Hint: Go... More

Had a fine meal of skewered tofu and veggies with a reasonable satay sauce. In contrast to the 3/11/14 review, I'd have to say 'disgusting' is not a word I'd use for this place. Pleasant, tasty, staple food are my thoughts on the place. Great view of the old city from up on a hill across the way...that plus perfectly... More

We celebrated my birthday there yesterday, party of five Israelis. We got a table with a perfect view of the old city. The dishes were great without exception .The Acorn squash was particularly interesting. The service was also excellent. Prices are intermediate.
