You cannot beat the view on the roof here... looking right at the Temple Mount, the Mount of Olives, etc. With the sun setting, you can see the Judean wilderness in the distance. It's spectacular! The wine, cheese and other food offerings are equally as impressive. This is a MUST VISIT in Jerusalem!

Although the service is a bit lacking - in terms of attentiveness not in terms of friendliness - the view from the rooftop cannot be beat. Go an hour before sunset, order a plate of cheese and a couple glasses of wine and enjoy the amazing view over the Old City, over to Galilee and even across to Jordan. It... More

Great food, great service, and great Pistachio ice cream. The prices for this quality of a restaurant is very reasonable and the view of old Jerusalem is outstanding.

As the Supermoon came up over Jerusalem and the lights shone on the Notre Dame towers and architecture, we sat in a light breeze on the top of the Notre Dame Christian House at the Wine and Cheese Restaurant and had a most delicious meal! My lambchops with rosemary were cooked to perfection and the salad and wine the server... More

This is a wine and cheese focused restaurant. And it has the high views over the old city and hills of Jerusalem that are very unique and special. The night we went was a special one with old friends and it was the second time we had visited. The last time, two years ago, the food was as great as... More

Great view over the Old City with an excellent menu. We had the Caesar salad and grilled salmon. Not cheap but worth every cent.

Divine view, the rest is O.K, not more. The view is the best thing about this restaurant. Food is not more then good average, the service is slow and unwelcoming, price per person with wine and tip about 90 usd for a fair dinner.

This is a quiet place to have coffee or a light lunch after the experience of walking through the high-pressure Old City markets in the Muslim Quarter of the Old City. It's a short walk up the hill from the Damascus Gate. Only English and Arabic are spoken...some Spanish as well, as Spanish and Latin American Christian tour groups stay... More

the restaurant has a wonderful view of the old city, with an extensive wine list. The cheese boards are quite good and the menu can provide a nice dinner but this is a place for wine and a view.

Everyone raves about the wine and cheese bar at the top of Notre Dame, and they especially are over the top about the view . . . but the place was closed for a private event the night we tried to get in and so we opted for the Italian restaurant in front of the hotel -- Grill & (Something)....
