You go for the view, you pay for it ! They do not serve water unless you pay $ 6 for a bottle ! Criminal extra charge on an already EXPENSIVE restraurant

Perfect place to enjoy Jerusalem's views, specially at night. But stay with drinks only. We ordered cheese fondue ($40) and Caesar salad ($17) with Vina Esmeralda Torres ($38). The food was insanely overpriced and extremely tasteless. Does not seem to bother the staff: "Nobody complained before...". Too bad, since the place itself is a winner. 5+ for location, 1 for... If you want to experience Jerusalem in an incredible way, enjoy dinner or a glass of wine from the rooftop of the Notre Dame Hotel. This gorgeous historic hotel offers a dining experience that is unmatched. Staff is attentive, ambiance is amazing!

The food in dining room, and café was fresh and very tasty! The roof-top Wine Restaurant was beautiful-- great selections of food and beverages... Nothing really that I disliked...

Notre Dame restaurant is situated on the roof of the hotel with the same name. To make a long story short, i would say that there are only two positive components in this strange business: panoramic view and design. The prices are very high and (sic!) in $US. When you try to talk with the staff in Hebrew, they switch... More

We would have visited this place more if we'd know the food, view and service were so good. We had cheese plate on our last night overlooking the old city. Spectacular in every way.

The food was VERY good and LOTS of it-- except for the spaghetti. Don't order it. It was watery and flavorless. However, the club sandwich, the chicken fingers or the hamburger are delicious and large enough to be split. Those portions are huge! The fries that accompany each of those are quite delish but don't expect a bottle of ketchup... More

We have eaten several times at this little restaurant across from New Gate. The lasagna and their lentil soup are among the best we have eaten. There aren't a lot of choices at this little "coffee shop" but the food has always been good and the cost inexpensive. If you want a fancier meal with more choices, the roof top... More
