Recently visited the Wine & Cheese Restaurant on the roof of the Notre Dame Hotel, at the recommendation of a family member. What a way to start our experience in Jerusalem! We arrived at dusk, which I think might be the best time to visit. The city was covered in beautiful colors of pink and yellow - and we could... More

The rooftop restaurant provides a spectacular view of the old city – and was amazing at night time. Although the restaurant offers, in particular, a very good selection of cheese and wine it is on the expensive side. Unfortunately the evening we were there the service was very poor and we were left waiting for ages for our food. When... More

Every day, the ground floor restaurant hosts a superb buffet lunch for 70 shekels. With multiple hot meats and veg and plenty of salads to choose from, there is something for everyone. The desserts are top quality tasting portions. Of course, being a true buffet, you can eat as much as you please! A must visit venue, just outside the... More

The roof top has one of the most beautiful views (if not the best) for the old city. But my friends and I went there and will never come again. The service was OK, food was OK, after we ordered our drinks they served us 2 entrées which we didn't ordered, we thought it was a nice gesture, then we... More

Location is by far, one of the best in whole jerusalem if you're catholic and you came here to walk all around the place. The best thing is the rooftop which is more than beautiful with fine wine cheese bar, very nice selection of wines. The staff working there is more than awesome as well! everything is on high level.... More

If you would like to get a great view of Jerusalem while your eating you should go to this restaurant. They have great salads to reasonable prices and the service is perfect.

Location is fantastic and the balcony is really enjoyable. However, it does feel like a tourist trap, with prices in USD and unnatural relationship with the dynamics of Jerusalem. In Israel the law requires every catering establishment to serve tap water free of charge. We asked for tap water and were told that the place doesn't not serve it. We... More

The rooftop bar and lounge at the Notre Dam this is a great space for a group, couples for dinner or just drinks. We got a bottle of a local Palestinian wine (sorry can not remember the name) with the cheese and meat platter. Just yum!! The view is fab. Overall you to forget the sadness and strife that exists... We have enjoyed the food and the roof top view twice here during our visits. It is a must-do on the list of restaurants in Jerusalem. You can have either wine and cheese - and when I say cheese, I mean fabulous cheeses from all over the world - or you can have a full dinner. The view is of... More
