The king

This is the place to eat Falafel. The most authentic arabic Falafel in the most authentic Arab's area in Haifa. Lovely atmosphere, nice owner, delicious salads and thina.

This small kiosk, a family business run today by the sons (Ha Zkenim in Hebrew means old people, i.e. the parents who founded this Falafel) is generating one of the best Falafel in Israel. They are polite smiling and provide excellent service. The only problem is parking. The shop is a very narrow alley that add to the atmosphere but... More

Drop in for a snack. I found half a falafel was enough. Tastey salad greens, picklish in flavour with falafel in tastey abundance. The shop was crowded and the patrons obviously enjoying the food.

Arguably the best falafel in Israel, and for good reason: great pita pockets, fresh salad, yummy pickles, crunchy and flavourful falafel balls, and the jewel in the crown: tangy, thick tahini sauce. Thank goodness there are no french fries or hummus or other distractions! The service is also super friendly.

I specifically searched for this place since I saw it's the No.1 eating place in Haifa. I was not impressed with the falafel. It's not bad, but it isn't anything special. It was also a bit too oily. You have to stand and eat, because there's no room or chairs and it's right by a street, so cars pass you.... More

You can have Falafel. Only Falafel. In a Pitta bread or a small paper bag, it is one of the beast Falefel you can find in Israel. The salad bar is moderate, but the salads are fresh. The Tahini is also great. However, parking in the area is an issue, and there are almost nowhere to seat, so probably you'll... More

This is the best felafel in Haifa, I eat there for many years and they never fail. The Felafel balls are very tasty, the Thina sous is just amazing, thick and sour, the pita brad is tasty, fresh and does not drip. They have only 3 types of salads: Cucumber & Tomato, Cabbage , pickles, Enough for diversity, but do... More
