The Square is not so crowded, but there are still Christians there excited about Christmas and there was a fabulous Ethiopian choir performing for a crowd of rapt admirers from around the world. I was disappointed that the post office was closed. They had a special multicolored stamp they were doing on postcards until midnight on Dec. 24, but it... More

Had a simple couscous meal there. The food was OK but nothing special, service was also average rather than very good. The location however is great, being the only Restaurant on Manger Square actually allowing decent views on what's happening in the Square.

Make it a point also to visit the Peace Center which is just across the Church of the Nativity. It is their... More

We walked around the square and went to the market. The market was filled with sights and mells I had never seen before. Good place to go to to really experience the culture of the people.
