We walked up to this restaurant and went to sit down and there was a cat sitting in my chair. Then I started to get the back of my chair bumped from a customer at the restaurant next door. While we were sitting our legs were getting attacked by a small black fly. The fly was biting our legs. Now... More

Great little place in Selcuk. Wish I had found it earlier! Eggplant and chicken was great - very tasty and filling.

This was our favourite Turkish restaurant in a month of travelling around Turkey. The staff were incredibly friendly. Ali, the manager, greeted us for a chat and a handshake on every visit. The prices were extremely reasonable. The patlicanli tavuk (chicken/eggplant casserole) was delectable, as was the moussaka - in fact I would recommend getting anything with eggplant in it.... More

I went to Nur for lunch all three days I was in Selçuk. The food was fresh, the bread amazing and light and airy, and the view of the aqueducts was very nice. Highly recommend!

We had the traditional turkish pizza and the chicken casserole. Pizza was really great, light crisp and flavoursome. The casserole, I was slightly apprehensive about, but was a delight. Soft and succulent chicken breast in beautiful juices. Accompanied by a huge piece of freshly baked turkish flat bread that was great to mop up all the sauces and onions. Highly... More

We had a relaxing dinner here. The setting (overlooking the main square) is nice. It's definitely geared toward tourists so you should expect that going in. The food is average compared to other tourist restaurants - I got the meat combo platter and found that most of it, except for the kabab, was kind of plain tasting. The kebab was... More

Food was delicious, very affordable, lots of vegetarian and traditional options, near the train station, and the owners/ chefs were fantastic! They even showed my wife how they make their bread.

We were pretty tired after the long day i Efes and Izmir. Thanks to the hospitality of the Nur Restaurant, we had a wonderful lunch outside and a great inspiring conversation about art with Ali, the manager of the place.
