I found the owner/host to be very pleasant. I had his recommendation of a chicken crepe and it was very good and very reasonably priced and a great portion. All in all excellent...
I wish I'd never given my money to this restaurant, especially the owner, who was extremely rude. I happened to ask him 3 questions about his dishes (this was all inside his little shop entrance before I had even seen the tourists who were all dining outside) and by my 3rd question when he was walking me to my outdoor... the calamari was passable and it was downhill from there. Greasy, tough purported lamb chops, impossible to eat. Some mystery meat wrapped in eggplant was little better. Do. Or go here unless you are looking for a bad meal.
WELCOME Thank you for choosing us. Our service at your table after eating all of our empty plates. Why did not dislike seeing. if you give me a charge you would not buy it, and gave them to eat foods other than. but we do not deserve this review. Thank you anyway More
As Australians we did not expect to fing a restaurant called Wallabies in country Turkey, let alone boasting authentic Turkish food. The reviews were good and the location great, so we gave it a try. We tried one of the evening's specials (a chicken disk) and a recommended beef disk. The chicken was very good, the beef average. Service was... More
Had a lovely lunch of Mezes and shrimp casserole, both of which were delicious promptly served and very reasonably priced. Friendly individual attention and a chance to look at appetising chicken and beef specialities to be served that evening. Ephesus tour awaited hree hours drive home so regrettably could not go back to sample them.
Highly recommend this restaurant in Selcuk as service is excellent and everyone at our table enjoyed the delicious home cooked flavor and generous portions in the variety of dishes ordered.

We kind of stumbled across it while walking through town - selected it based upon the nice outdoor seating area and the pitch from "Jeff" the owner and host. A wonderful outdoor setting next to the Roman aquaduct. And the food was great - we each ordered one of... More
Good food at reasonable prices.Mostly standard Turkish fare but some extra dishes from further east,I suppose this is the 'chin gu' bit.The location by the fountain next to the Roman viaduct is pleasant.Service is very good.Attentive and friendly without being obtrusive.
Just spent 4 nights in Selcuk and ate at Wallabies for 3 nights.Lovely open air setting by the aquaduct. The 5 lira mixed mezes is a great start . Husband and I chose different meals each night and they were all very good.
Just a few hours ago, Mehmet (aka Jeff), warmly welcomed my wife and I to his lovely patio, beside the fountain, and beside the Aqueduct ruins in Selcuk. He understood that my wife has a bell pepper allergy, and assured us we would be taken care of. Were we ever! The mezes items were lovely. Then he brought a "special"... More
