Sit in the garden, have one of the daily specials, get a close up view of the roman aqueducts that run through town and the storks that nest on them. Watch the towns people and visitors stroll by as you dine.

We decided to have a dinner at Wallabies as we've stayed at their hotel and didn't feel like walking anywhere else. The restaurant itself has lovely outside seating as well as indoors seating, which looked a bit cold to my taste. The food is okay. We had the specials and they were good. Nothing really special or inventive, but nice... More

We found Wallabie's in downtown Seljuk while looking for the Roman Aquaduct. Jeff greeted us at the front of the restaurant (as anyone who has been to Turkey will know, this is a common method of getting people into a restaurant). The owner, Jeff, was very friendly with excellent English. He showed us the specials then seated us outside with... More

This romantic, charming outdoor atmosphere is perfect for a night out in turkey. This family owned restautant has seating outside right next to the fountains and ruins. The owner, Jeff, greeted us very warmly, offered us tea on the house, and sat with us a bit to describe the history of the city and how his restaurant came about. The... More

This restaurant offered a lovely terrace with a great view of Roman Aquaducts. The food was just as lovely with a fix of traditional Turkish mezes and so out of the box mains at very reasonable prices. The service was exceptional, don't hesitate, you will not regret it. Bon apétit!

Wallabies Heavenly Garden is the perfect spot for a nice meal after exploring the various archaeological sites of Selçuk. Jeff is a very welcoming host, and as a solo female traveler, I felt relaxed and at ease. The delicious food, wine, and atmosphere compliment each other beautifully.

Had lunch and dinner here several times during our extended stay in a Selcuk; very clean and a unique Lentil soup followed by traditional Turkish food, very fresh and with a slightly different twist. Also they accommodate non smokers easily as there is a large inside area; the angora wine is quite good. Also have crepes and other menu choices... More

We stayed in Selcuk for 5 nights - and ate at Wallabies on 4 of those evenings. As many other reviewers note, Jeff, the proprietor, is a great host. He'd see us walking down the street and be greeting us before we got to his place. He is very attentive to and personable with his guests. The food was delicious.... More

We really enjoyed this lovely outdoor patior restaurant in the heart of Selcuk. Jeff, the proprietor, is justifiably proud of his "Heavenly Garden," which is shaded and delightful in late afternoon and evening. The two "signature" dishes are the chicken stuffed with spinach and peppers and the chicken crepe, which is topped with a light béchamel sauce. Both were well... More
