We decided to eat here on our holiday in Selcuk since it had such good reviews. Maybe we picked a bad night but we were not really impressed. The starter we shared of cheese pastries was tasteless and luke warm and the second course came far too quickly. I ordered the Surprise which was tasty but my partners kebabs were... More

We were after a light lunch and happened to see this restaurant located on a pretty and breeze street.. We shared a salad, cheese cigars and a selection of mezze, and ayrans. Everything was fresh and tasty and we enjoyed our lunch very much.

Excellent service, very friendly owner. Food excellent with a new twist on Turkish food. We went twice and sat facing the pond and fountain, with the view of Ataturk's stature in the background, great atmosphere.

I had the house surprise with lamb, my husband the chicken crepe with bechmal sauce. Prices were about $11 and $7 US respectively. Friendly atmosphere, great little window shopping street, near roman aquaduct ruins and St. John's

Don't be put off by the fact that the tables are on a platform (feels a bit like a stage!) The food is excellent (the best we had) and the presentation is excellent. It wasn't even expensive, quite cheap actually. Lovely view of the byzantine aquaduct... but only for the ladies! Unfortunately, we only ate here on our last night... More

The only bad part of the meal is that we had to rush to get to the airport when the meal deserved to be savored. My husband said it was one of the best salads he'd had. The prices were reasonable, the food and wine were very good and the portions were large. The location is lovely.

Wallabies was one of my best dining experiences in Turkey. The service is great and the food is delicious (try the "surprise"!) in a nice location on the main square. Excellent value too!

Excellent food - particularly the house 'special' lamb dish. Service was also excellent and the meal was well priced. We paid about 75TL for three courses and drinks for two people (without alcohol). Would definitely go back. One of the nicest meals we've had in Turkey. The setting, in front of an aqueduct was something quite rare!

During our three-night stay in Selcuk during late July 2014 we chose to eat twice at Wallabies restaurant, despite the obvious appeal of its many nearby competitors and despite the good food offered in the hotel we’d chosen. We’d happily have eaten there more often if we’d been staying longer. That’s how highly we rated it. The location, right in... More
