The actual restaurant is small, but you just sit outside and enjoy the excellent service given by the owner and his family. Good food in a relaxing setting. As a vegan I appreciated that he understood I don't eat meat, cheese, etc. I was happy with our meal and the price was such a bargain.

What great Kebabs! The food is great. The staff is friendly and can hook you up with anything you need - from a tasty dish to skydiving arrangements. Mehmet and Ali Baba are great company too. There isn't much to say other than if you are in Selcuk for 3 days, you should eat there at least 3 times.

I have known Mehmet and Ali for a good many years, and always marvel at their genuine helpfulness. The food is top notch. This has been my first time back in 7 years, and I've been seeing the photos of the Kebab House, and wishing I could be back. Well here I am and there is no disappointment. The food... More

Mehnet's is a small place next to the bus station and the museum. We got sent to an okayish place on the first day by our hotel owner (an otherwise awesome guy and wonderful hotel). Hence we were little skeptical of the food in this cute small town of Selcuk. Tripadvisor led is to Mehmet and the food was unbelievable... More

Traditional Turkish picturesque quaint outdoor setting - delicious home cooked food, family atmosphere. Very friendly/helpful/informative owners = Ali/Mehmet plus son Emre. All 3 speak good English. No pestering as experienced in resort towns. Have been visiting Selcuk and this kebab house since 2005 and food/service have never let me down, entirely consistent. My very best wishes to them!

This place was seriously awesome. While walking back to our hotel after having eaten at one of the tourist trap restaurants in the main part of Selcuk, we noticed lots of business happening at the Ali Baba Kebab House, and decided to give it a try the following night and were so glad we did (and were later kicking ourselves...
