When we walked in the door, we knew from the lack of ambience that we were not in the right place for us, but it was a chilly night, so we stayed. The menu choice is very limited - one page. We had lamb chops and lamb kebabs. Both were unremarkable. The service was spotty, even though the restaurant only... More

We had our lunch in this restaurant after our visit to Ephesus and House of Virgin Mary. Our guide took us here. I ordered Sish Chicken. The dish was great. I was traditional but one of my friends who eats meat said that the meatballs was awesome. As I don't eat meat, I can't claim my friend's review. There was... More

All the reviews are right. Best meatballs we ate in Turkey. Especially liked the spicy meatballs. Great '"olive oil" mezzes like thistle and leeks.

Our guide told us that this restaurant had the best meatballs in all of Turkey. Quite a claim but one I can't refute. I don't know how you can distinguish a meatball so clearly but they do manage. The food was simple but excellent, and the meatballs really were exceptional! Service was friendly; restaurant was clean and comfortable,

The owner and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming! Food was exceptional (especially the lamb) and decent sized portions for a good price!! Hands down the best place we ate in Turkey!! If you are in Selçuk make sure you eat here!

We've found this place by Lonely Planet guide. Great home cooked meal. Not a tourist place, which is good. The menu is quite simple with not much of a variety. They do only few amazing dishes. Great koftes and great vegeterian options as well. Try the pureed aubergine 'salad', and the 'tourlou' (mix of courgettes with potatoes and other vegetables.... More

Our group of 7 wanted a restaurant frequented by locals, not tourists. We got all that and then some. The food was fantastic and the staff were fun and eager to help. The vegetarian options were delicious and the carnivores were happy as well. 10 out of 10. Probably the best lunch we had while in Turkey.

After a very long hot day of site seeing, we asked our tour guide to take us to one of his favorite spots to eat, and we were thrilled that he did just that! The food was incredible, reasonably priced, and the owner (who is a hulk of a fella) was exceptionally kind, and made our lunch very memorable!

Of the meals we had during our four day stay in Selcuk, this is the one that stood out. Great salads at the counter and excellent juicy, tender Kofte and Kebabs. The Adana Kebab I had was very tasty, spicy and the meat tender. Try the lovely rice pudding Special. With Tahini and Pekmez (grape molasses) added, it was a... More
