Good place to go Kadikoy side

We had a good lunch here. The couscous is very tasty. Staff is very friendly and helped us choose a good turkish lunch. The kebabs were good too.

it is a little overwhelming at first with all the food, and how it works but the chef explained to me all the dishes and the waitress all the salads at the salad bar and how it works on weight, we got big plates of salad each (3 of us) and a large plate of falafel and i think it... More

I helped myself to a large selection of vegetarian mezzes - they were weighed and my meal came to only 12 lira. Absolutely everything was delicious full of unusual tastes flavours and spices. Mmmm. My friends went for meat options and they agreed my choice was the best. Totally recommend this place especially for vegetarians

Ciya has three restaurants in the same street in Kadikoy on the Asian side, just a few minutes walk from the ferry terminal. Each of the restaurants has their speciality but you can order food from any regardless of which one you sit in. The Sofrasi lives up to all the hype we have read and produces excellent food from... This restaurant is rather famous - written up in the New York Times and New Yorker. It's why we made the excursion out here. It's easy to find, and well-worth a trip. Getting out of European Istanbul was good. The food was great. I can't say it reminded me of my childhood or my grandmother, but some of the tastes... More

I tried the Ciya kebap which i thought it would be the best in this place but in my opinion it is normal and the portion is small too... My wife ordered the lahmacun with onion which was also under the normal...

Ciya Sofrasi had good reputation and for a reason. It was very nice to be able to scoop mezes yourself and pay by the weight. Good quality, lots of fresh ingredients and good tastes. Lots of options for vegetarians as well.

I go to Ciya time to time. I always find new tastes to experience.. If you prefer to do like "little bit of this and little bit of that" type of style, you should expect to have higher number in the check. But if you stick to standard ordering there won't be any surprise.
