Delicious, there are lot of restaurants in this street, but choose CIYA!

We (husband and me) were here for a Friday lunch in April, and it was a really good choise. You can choose the mezzes (stuffed grape leaves, stuffed aubergine (hot and spicy) stuffed tomato, hummus, salads..) as many as you want in your plate, then the waitress weights it and give a piece of paper... read more

Too Turkish, too tasty, good service, large selection of authentic local dishes, this restaurant is an ultimate stop for everyone, who wants to enjoy genuine Turkish food

The food here is total bliss. It is cheap and plentiful and the kind of meal that makes you wish you had more stomachs to fill. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is that my dining partner really didn't enjoy the atmosphere at all which to be fair - is basically a fluro lit canteen. We... More

The restaurant is buffet style but it does not sacrifice taste and quality. I had the doner kebap with rice - so yummy!! Definitely eat here if you're in the Asian side of Istanbul:).

What a find!!! This is our sixth evening in Istanbul, and we had tried a number of restaurants that were said to be very good ... But this is the ONE restaurant that got us excited about Turkish food. It was seriously goooood... There is a good number of dishes set out buffet style in two counters as one enters... More

Really lovely food and specialties we did not see on other menus - they did half serves so that we could try more dishes...the olive and tomatoes desserts were interesting but the lamb, wild greens and yoghurt dish from way out East was the highlight that day (the menu changes daily). Check out the nearby market.

Living in Istanbul, this was the place I always took visitors. It's a world famous restaurant but not expensive or pretentious. Definitely do the meze bar- just load up your plate and they will weigh it and tell you what you owe. The künefe is also really good. Honestly there's nothing you could order that wouldn't be delicious.

A welcoming team took away all awkwardness for a pair of itinerant Aussies. Special food, a fine mix between locals and visitors, both Turkish and otherwise. This must be one of the best businesses I have seen. A delight to visit.

We love Istanbul and come here at least twice a year the past 7 years. Now we are going to come more often! We've eaten all over the city over the years and several places in Kadikoy. We had a favorite place near the blue mosque but no more, This was the best Turkish lunch ever. The 4 of us... More

Located in the heart of Kadikoy, on the Asian side. Its really exceptional, so go there, try as many things as your stomach will allow, and then eat dessert too. I prize their Anatolian dishes so highly. I admit I actually get insulted if I'm at the restaurant and I overhear a Turkish person speaking to a foreigner about the... More
