We lunched at the well reviewed Ciya vegetarian restaurant – there are now three of them – the others are close by and serve meat as well.
The ordering process was not simple. The cold mezze are chosen, plated and weighed. The cost is by weight.
The hot dishes are cooking away in gigantic pots. You point at the dishes...

It is the absolute different style of food you can get in Istanbul. After you finish all the classics that you will anyway have in Turkey, all the kebaps, doners and baklava, it is worth it to visit this interesting place to taste a bit of the real Anatolian food. Careful, don't expect to have alcohol there...
Back after one year. Again fantastic quality, and extremely fair value for money. A must in Kadikoy area, really hoping they won’t drop quality with so many good reviews.
I've been to Ciya on many occasions during my visits to Istanbul and every time there has been something different and amazing to enjoy. The menu is based on the freshest produce available and covers cuisine from all over the region. I look forward to going many more times whenever I can... divine :)

The restaurant is excellent, we stayed there for the dinner, in the outdoor seats. The location is in Kadikoy. This is the best way to taste several kinds of meze because you can serve yourself without asking. You will pay the meze by weight, choosing what your eyes suggest you! There is a good selection of hot plates and kebab...

Very good food, served in singular sylver plates. We arrived at 10 pm and the kitchen was already closed but a very kind waiter started to show us what we could it with a special attention to vegetarian habits. Lovely soups, cooked eggplants, vegetable mixed, yogurth delicious dishes... I stronglyrecommend it to whom is in the area.
food is strange)) I've never seen such names of dishes so it's difficult just to guess what you will eat. But food is delicious. The only disadvantage - too many people.
