This place has one of the best food considering the price range. There's a lot of different options. Staff are very nice and helpful.

I wish I knew more about this restaurant before we went there as part of a tour group. The food was incredibly good. If we had time we would have gone back on our own to sample some of the other plates we did not have time. A must dinning experience for any foodie.

Çiya Sofrasi serves a wide variety of traditional Turkish food, from many of the country's regions, in a no-frills restaurant. (Make sure to go to Ciya Sofrasi, not one of the 2 nearby Ciya Kebab restaurants.) You serve your own meze from the selection available, then view and order the many hot dishes you can see on the stove behind... More

We've eaten here by recommendation, but it worth to cross to the Asian side. Food was delicious, service was great. We also tried baby eggplant which was visibly soaked in sugar. Basically it was full of sugar. :) Recommended!

In short, this is one of the top 10 restaurants in Istanbul for sure, which you can find very traditional and almost lost int time recipes and foods from Anatolia.. The owner is also oublisher of a monthly food magazine which combined with arts for years hence the food by tself is a state of art as well.. Any local... More

This place burns quite a BIG hole in your pocket. The food for the price paid is definitely not good enough. We went here based on the ratings and were very disappointed.

In the Asian side, tucked away in the side streets is this lovely eatery - where you can gorge on the vegetarian salads & starters

The four of us (two couples) had lunch here on a weekday. The place is very easy to find using a map, or by asking locals for directions like I noticed some other people do. We didn't use the menus and went to the display to choose our mains. The chef explained the dishes and we happily pointed to the... More

My friends and I took the ferry to the Asia side of Istanbul to explore and specifically eat at Ciya Sofrasi. After a short walk from the water we found the spot, picked our food at the counter and waited for authentic turkish bliss. Between the 5 of us, we ordered most of what was on offer. Everything was fantastic,... More
