Pudding Shop had its (hey)day. By now it's overpriced (!) with rude service and a tourist trap to say the least. Also extra costs are easily and randomly added, I feel. So is a similar restaurant shop a few doors away though marginally better. Uninformed tourists, or those who don't read up before they go, tend to go here, and... More

The food scored a 3.5 stars in my book. It is served cafeteria style. They don't have a set menu so you just walk up to see what is being served. The day I was there stuffed chicken breastfeeding - meatballs - salmon for the main. Sides were rice - mashed potatoes - fries .

Went to restaurant as part of our tour group lunch break. Food was served buffet style. Portions were very large and little description given. Two meals with Noah dessert came to 55 TL. For the taste, I'd say a little too pricey especially if you compare it to the delicious food at Taksim Square

Hi everyone, This review if my own personal opinnion on Pudding shop. Now there is saying about the shop and it's says that 'it is a meeting point' first i would like to say, that indeed it is. It was the first place we ate at in Istanbul and we were lucky to find it as it was one of the very few places that served food from 9 a.m. and we were ravenous after a long flight. The place itself has a very international interior, but the staff is very friendly and warm, the best type of... More

Super choice of cheap wholesome food and very helpful staff. They rely on their reputation rather than hassling potential customers as they walk past. An Istanbul institution.

Service is fine, food is delicious but price is exaggerated ...... its very simple restaurant for quick meal I didn't expect to pay 90TL for a piece of salmon and Iskandar Kebab dish !

We ate here before leaving Istanbul. We thought we'd have a great meal as the reviews said that it was worth a try. But we were disappointed when we ordered the Iskender Kebap and the Shish. We've had better food. The meat on the skewers were very chewy, we barely ate them. The Iskender was okay but it could have... More

You can't pass the colorful display of pudding desserts at this unique restaurant, where there seems to be as many flavors of pudding as the range offered in an ice cream shop. I had a dessert with three different flavors, including pistachio! Don't miss it!

The food was really good, the staff very friendly. However, I expected more atmosphere of the former Hippie restaurant.
