We were hesitant to eat at the hotel as we were afraid that it would just be over priced average hotel dining. It was a very rainy night so we gave it a try and were so glad we did as the food and service were excellent! It ended up being the best dinner by far on our 6 day... More

We booked X'mas Eve dinner prior to our visit to Istanbul almost one month ago. We stayed at the Four Seasons Sultanahmet which was a very convenient location nearby all important historical sites. Perhaps we expected too high with the Four Seasons, the highly recommended Seasons Restaurant on tripadviser turned out to be over-rated. It's set menu, with two starters,... More

It was my husband's 60th birthday. We were staying at the hotel for 3 nights last week and dined there on our last night: the 28th. The food selection is varied and very interesting. Great quality and taste. But more importantly the staff were wonderful and made it a lovely celebratory evening. Our waiter in particular was really friendly and... More

Of course this restaurant and hotel is expensive. But the rooms, views, food, staff are all exquisite too. Really worth the treat.

Inside the Four Seasons Sultanahmet, this is in many ways a typical "hotel restaurant". Primarily residents go there, and the menu is quite pricy. The menu is classical french inspired, but with a nice Turkish twist. Service is attentive, and the quality of the food matches the expectations for a chain like Four Seasons.

Hard to point out anything specific that wasn't right. It just didn't knock my socks off. I had the lamb kabop. cooked quite well, felt to be sort of a western version, not quite Turkish spiced. The before meal bread was the high point, simply beautifully executed. Good as the bread was, I would have liked the highlight to be... More

This was the second best meal we had in Istanbul (Sorry, first place goes to Nicole). Service was great as was the food. We both had fish that we had never had before, I think it was called Corb (?) and the wine that was suggested to accompany the meal was delicious as was the chocolate dessert. Our sever, Murat,...
