Fine food sitting next to the Bosphorus

The Seasons restaurant offers fantastic food with an unbeatable view over the Bosphorus. We had a sletion of traditional dishes with some Middle East also included, the food and service were excellent.

Had a late dinner here with my wife per the recommendation of a friend of mine from Istanbul (we're from the U.S. and were passing through on the way to South Africa). The meal was absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend this place for authentic Turkish food. The service was top notch (the waiters / waitresses couldn't have been... More

The restaurant located in the glass pavillion inside the Four Seasons Hotel Sultanahmet yard. Lovely midday and romantic at night time, it offers fine turkish and ottoman cusine. Ideal place to have a good kebab after bathing in Hurrem Sultan Hamam (few steps away from hotel). Enjoy!

My wife and I chose to have dinner at the Seasons Restaurant on our first night at the Four Seasons—Sultanahmet. The restaurant is located in the central courtyard of the hotel, and looks out on the beautifully sculpted gardens that make this hotel special. The meal we enjoyed was one of the very best in recent memory. The atmosphere and... More

We decided to push the boat out book when visiting Istanbul and booked a table at Seasons restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel Sultanahmet. To be honest, the overall experience was underwhelming. The Four Seasons itself is stunning and lives up to its five star rating and the restaurant, both the inside tables and the tables outside in the courtyard,... More

After a very long day's walk touring all of Istanbul (really, we walked for over 7 hours), we stopped at the Four Seasons as we wanted to take in what we knew would be a very relaxing and welcoming peaceful setting. It did not disappoint. While we could have eaten in the beautiful gardens, we opted for the rooftop terrace... More

Had a wonderful relaxing lunch on the terrace in the hotel's gardens which was once the exercise yard of the prison.

The Seasons restaurant have a great western and Turkish menu. The prices are reasonable for Istanbul and I found the quality of the food very high. The wine menu had local wine which was all excellent. The service great as well. I would highly recommend going to this restaurant

Popped in for lunch after a bit of tourismo & glad we did. Excellent food, great service, lovely, quiet peaceful setting only moments from the main tourist sights. Lahmacun excellent (do try it), seafood & borlotti beans & kebab with the best bulgur wheat ever. Ideal for a decent lunch after Topkapi etc.

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
