Good food, well cooked and not too crowded in an area with lots of tourist trap restaurants. The mezze plate was good.

New afghan-persian restaurant on crowded uxbridge road. Rezvan offers authentic and delicious afghan dishes in addition to the popular Persian Kebabs. Nice staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Unhuried. Affordable. .

Stopped in here for breakfast near Sultanahmet and was not disappointed. The breakfast was a wonderful spread of bread, cheese, meat, olives, jam, and vegetables. Our waiter was wonderfully friendly and attentive. The coffee and juice were also delicious. Mostly tourists here, but worth stopping. On a busy street with a tram, so there is lots of people watching. Would... More

Having been in Turkey for over a month I wanted a simple beef burger at 8.40pm and a beer - exactly what I got in modern surroundings and western music (not too loud). Service was good and friendly. Would recommend for a burger.

Another place run by Sirkeci group. Tomato soup was really tasty. So were the hot dishes. Waiters speak fluent English and very friendly. Highly recommended for light lunch and dinner. Dessert was also very yummy.

Once you visit Mese, you'll want to back every day. Very tasteful meals for reasonable price. We were there many times during lunch and dinner time and every time we got a nice appetizer to get started, so you're almost full before the main meal. At the end they offer you also a traditional Turkish tea with Halva. We ate... More

We had some mese, 2 wraps, 2 beers. The beer was good. The wraps tasteless. The mese less than average. We were alone in the restaurant but it still took forever to get served. I would have no reason to go back there again.

We asked our hotel for a good simple place to eat and they recommended Cafémese. The food was simple and excellent. We split a black-eyed bean & chicken salad to start and it was delicious and large enough to be a main dish. We each had an entrée of steamed sea bass that and drank the local Esen beer. It... More

We ate here twice. The first night was after a long flight. Service was good and the food great. On the second night we had our same waiter, Murat, who got a cheese plate from the sister restaurant to complement our bottle of wine. Simple fare with a class A touch.

We dined at Cafe Mese once (2 adults, one child). The staff speaks English. We were welcomed and provided with a table. The cafe is rather small and simple in design, though clean and cosy. While we were waiting for our dinner, the lady (I think she was a manager) offered us a complimentary cold appetizer and fresh bread rolls.... More
