Good, Good Food near Taksim

We stopped here for lunch in January 2016, and had excellent falafel and hummus. The quality of the food was first-rate, the tables clean, and the staff friendly (and English-speaking).

We were looking for a place to eat falafel and we got the right one. Nice people and great falafel with hummus and salad! You can choose between different menus. Really worthy to go. Don't miss it.

I really didn't expect this from the unassuming exterior (and, let's be frank, interior) but this is actually a really nice place to eat near Taksim Square. At about 20-30 lira for a main course this is a very cheap place to eat and the falafels are very, very tasty, made with fresh ingredients. For those looking for a quick... More

The falafel and hummus are really good. The staff speak some English and service is good. They have a small seating area outside.

I tried their falafel sandwiches, great taste and very economical. You can take them away, or you can taste their other choices on spot. Great value for money choice

This is no fancy restaurant. It was a fantastic lunch stop shop close to Taksim square. We both ordered felafel wraps and they were delicious. While we waited we read some of the (many) articles they have on their walls by newspapers/magazines raving about the place.

First time to try falafel and they combine it with tabouleh and hummus for a party in your mouth. So delicious! Wana go back!

The food was average but the service was Fast The only reason we had to eat here was because Veg falafel was not available any where else close by May be we missed some joints but this was easily traceable Would look for better options

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighborhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
