This cheeky back street kebab shop, manned by experts , do fast and tasty kebabs (chicken/lamb/ beef) and are open to people, taking pictures of them cooking them on the massive grill. The wrap was a perfect balance so spicy, salty meaty food, and you can eat it there or in the go! Either way, for go spending lots of money... More

Ordered Double Durum Adana, twice :) food is delicious and very cheap for usual prices in Istanbul. Double durum is only 10 TL. Restaurants around Taksim cost twice that much and are not even close to this! Highly recommended!

We thought we would try this place after seeing the Bourdain programme and have to agree with the previous poster - yep, he got it right! We had a single mixed Adana wrap each and it was so flavoursome that it didn't need a sauce - which for me normally is a must. The wrap coated in the meat juices... More

Wow. On the show, Bourdain's response to eating the kebab was to order a second. Today, I did the same exact thing. When deciding where to go for a few days between business trips, I settled on Istanbul for the culture, food, and history. A (huge) part of that decision was the food, and from what I had read and... Double Adana wrap was so delicious unbelievably good. We went back twice, was worth it. Yes it is take away but sit on a stool & absorb the environment. The owner, magic, such a wonderful host, an absolute must in Instabul.

Tried the double adana kebap and loved it so much we went back the next night. Wish we had been staying longer. The best kebap we have ever tasted. Our host was delightful and showed us the mixed grill which we have to try next time we are in Instanbul

Ignore the Bourdain hype. It doesn't matter. This place stands on its own as one of the best hole in the walls you will ever be so lucky to stumble into. Wraps are so good we had to go back the next day for more. Great for take out or grab a stool and take it outside and enjoy it... More

This is not really a restaurant - more take away but you can sit down and watch the street life in Istanbul. We walked back to our apartment with all the flavours tingling in our mouth! Now 24hrs later and no ill affects. The wrap is done on a charcoal grill and adds to the flavour. So good!

This place has obviously made a name for itself. Get the double meat wrap option, it's well worth it - I think it's eight lira. What makes the wraps so fantastic is the wood fired oven they use - the meat is cooked to perfection.

I ate here six days in a row, that says all that needs to be said about this place. Try a salad with your dürüm, its nicely spiced and a great combination. Easiest route: on Istiklal avenue enter the street that harbors the Flower Arcade/Çiçek Pasajı (its called Sahne Sokak and is to your right if you're walking from Taksim... More
