Very good food indeed. Had recommended items from wait staff. Reasonable price TL70 for 2 Ottoman main courses, soup, bread and 2 drinks. Nice setting. Worth a visit though not easy to locate this gem!

We loved this restaurant. Nestled into a small side-street amongst a bevy of pushy, tourisitic restaurants, it was a veritable oasis from the grab and show establishments around it. We know why. They rely on really good fresh, food, good portions, at very affordable prices. They have great wine, and the meze plate was delicious. The people that work there made... More

The service & food exceptional! Try Humus Starter or Cigarette Pastry & leave room for Shepherd Salad. Plus, pita bread & olives served w/each meal. Mmmm. Service friendly & they speak English. Prices reasonable. Nice dining experience.

Searching for a place to eat in Sultanahmet we came across the Anatolia Cafe & Restaurant. After sizing up other restaurants in the area we decided to return and we were glad we did. We dined outdoors at a quiet, street-side table. We had the Ottoman cuisine. The food and service was great, the staff was very friendly, engaging, and... More

Walking throughout Sultanahmet looking for a restaurant with good food we found this cozy restaurant where the food is great, the price is right and the staff amazing. Mehmet, one of their waiters is amazing, he knows how to make a client feel comfortable. We liked so much and during our six days in Istanbul we went there three times.... More

In the oasis of restaurant streets throughout Sultanahmet, we found Anatolia by accident—which turned out to be a great find indeed! The initial preview of the menu and the surrounding décor was more than enough to lull two weary travelers inside. From the moment we sat down to our final Raki shot; I can sum up Anatolia in two words:... More

Until we came to Turkey we had no idea how good aubergine and mushrooms could taste. Our meal at Anatolia Cafe was one of the best of the trip. We had mix meze and the Anatolian favourite. It was unlike any dish we've ever had: the flavours fantastic and the meat perfectly cooked and tender. Highly recommend!

On a cold, rainy evening in Istanbul we were strolling the streets looking for comfort and good food. We were greeted at the Istanbul Anatolia Cafe with a warm smile and a comfortable table at the window inside - warm and dry. We were treated to outstanding service and attention - including great comfort food and an excellent suggestion on... More
