We stopped here for lunch with our guide Necip last week. The food was excellent, so fresh and tasty. The service was wonderful, very easy going yet informative for us tourists! We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a lovely lunch just off the main square in Istanbul.

Popped in for lunch based on Trip Adviser recommendations. We weren't disappointed. Great food (and lots of it), friendly service, good location and a very fair price. Definitely add to the recommendations.

Ate here on the recommendation of Tripadvisor and could not be happier. Service was great. All of the staff were very nice and attentive. Explained the dishes to us and made recommendations. We had the sigar borek, lamb in pottery (for two), and baklava. Everything was amazing. We ate at the Four Seasons, Mikla, Nicole, Changa de Muzee, and some... More

Very good restaurant near the blue mosque in sultanhamed. Obviously the place is not super authentic as we are near the main tourist attractions but the food is surprisingly good. If you are in sultanhamed thats the way to go. Nice staff, very polite and professional. Good food at a resonable price.

This was a GREAT find in a side alley in Istanbul. We were on a day tour and our guide brought us here for lunch. FANTASTIC kabob, fantastic service, completely unrushed, and the waitress was completely attentive. Toward the end of the meal the manager (may have been owner) came out and thanked us for stopping at his restaurant, asked... More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant to us and we found it perfect. Food was really delicious and the portion size was excellent. We liked pottery kebab and cold mix meza specially egg plant maza was out of the world.

Had a fantastic lunch at this hidden restaurant. It was the perfect rest stop on a day of touring the city. The food was delicious and typical Turkish menu. The service was great and the staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend this restaurant while in Istanbul! Will return here one day!

My wife ànd I found out about the Fuego restaurant from a local. Yes it is in a tourist area but off the main street, about one block. Very handy to the tram line and in the Sultanamet area where there are many sites/places you will want to see. We were told it had really good food and service so... More

We decided to have lunch at this restaurant because of tripadvisor. It came out to be quite expensive but the food is very good and well served. We recommend!

Wow! Could not wait to write this review. Had a meal at Fuego only 2 hours ago and still smiling about the experience. Wonderful hosts and truly delicious meals made fresh and served hot. Such friendly staff who made my group and me feel like we were VIP regulars (but it was only our first time there). Definitely will return.... More
