The five of us settled down to enjoy our visit - a bustling street just outside and plenty to watch. we made selections from the mezze plates, ordered a bottle of the 'house red' and thus began a lovely evening. My grilled sea bass was delicious. The others enjoyed their selections from the varied menu. We had a very good... More

This quiet, non-pushy restaurant was just great. It pleased us so much the first time that we returned on our last night there for their fabulous Chicken with Plum Sauce. Good staff, great food, not pushy at all (at least if not too busy). One of the best.

I had not eaten there and would never ever ever! We were walking to our hotel, when the guy, waiter, was inviting us to eat in there, I said 'no thank you' his reply 'thank you does not give me money!' thats just unacceptable!!! I got really upset, I hate when you are being mistreated, and others only see you... More

Just had my birthday lunch at this great restaurant. Stunning food. Great service. Real Turkish dishes. Fresh, creative and beautifully presented. Good price and well worth it.

Everything we ordered was delicious; meze platter, vegetable pasta, chicken skewers, chocolate souffle, fried ice cream, kahvesi. Service was great too; Mustafa was especially helpful and also treated us to a complimentary fruit platter with our desserts. Lovely ambience and decor too.

The food was good though not outstanding. Service was efficient and very friendly. Very pleasant atmosphere on a bustling street full of restaurants. The spoiler occurred when they gave us our bill, onto which 10% had been added, and pointedly told us it was a government tax, and not service charge. Having been here for 3 weeks and not having... Decidedly below average, this place. Service was slow and rather muddled. Food – nothing whatsoever to write home about. Tried the stuffed squid, rammed with so many different molten lava flavours that the net result was it tasted of melted cheese and rubber and indeterminate other stuff. Swordfish was a neutral experience. Chicken tagine was a searing hot, watery schlop.... More

Our concierge recommended this little restaurant in Sultanahmet, just off the main drag across the Blue Mosque square. It is catered for tourists, and also a little expensive, but we were very happy with the quality of the food. They bring you the entire selection of mezze to pick from, and everything looked tempting so we ordered the mixed platter.... More
