Good food, a decent selection of food and wine and a waiter that obviously enjoys the job and can balance three drinks on his head. Siva is right in the middle of the tourist area but none the worse for that - give it a go!

near the blue mosque in a touristic street it is easy to find. However, food is good, but nothing special. We ate spicy kebab and lamb kebab. Price is not so good as I read in many comments on tripadvisor and portions are small. In the end they will offer you apple cay (green apple tea) as all the restaurants... More

We went there because they scored highly on tripadvisor and weren't disappointed. For a tourist-centred restaurant it is well-priced. The special fish dishes and testi kebabs are fantastic. We enjoyed lots of complimentary tea and bread. The guys are great too.

Siva cafe is in a great location along a street with many bars and restaurants. The food was great -- I highly recommend the testi kebob. Victor is also an amazing host and a great person to get to know while you are staying in Istanbul. If you are in the area, make sure you stop by and at least... More

Tired worn out from travelling. Had great food in welcoming atmosphere with amazing entertainment from balancing glasses of beer etc on head. Warm friendly, danced with me made one feel one mattered. Good music, shrimp casserole par excellence , salt fish, lamb tessa baked in clay pot all amazing! Joseph and Victor are great hosts and Chef Osman is talented... More

Went here for dinner on our second night in Istanbul and was impressed with the food as well as service. Located in a busy street where restaurants are right next to each other. We ordered a traditional turkish food and it was very tasty. I also ordered a meal for my daughter that was not on the menu and they... More

Exactly what the heading says. It's good but not close to a 5 star. Go for a snack or late drink cause atmosphere is nice, lots of tourists around.

The owner of the restaurant was very nice and welcoming. He treated us with tea, baklava and humus. He recommended us a dish and called us a taxi after we finished.

I don't remember how many times we have gone there, since it has been a lot! The food is great as always, staff are nice and entertaining, and the location is great. You should go there, at least once! :) you won't be disappointed.

While the menu is similar to other restaurants in this district what made Siva restaurant stand out was the friendly staff and the entertainment thrown in - the showmanship involved in cracking open the clay pot meal we had and the performance of balancing of beers on the waiter's head. The food was tasty and the complimentary baklava with apple... More
