It's average Korean food, good service

Considering that this is Istanbul, I wasn't expecting restaurants here to rival those in Seoul of Los Angeles. But this was pretty good--I was feeling sick so my wife ordered some Korean ramen to go, and the owners allowed her to bring the tray and utensils to our hotel (the Hotel Amira right... read more

We had Bulgogi and spicy fried chicken. Bulgogi was decent but the portion is very little for 35YTL. The spicy chicken was over fried and again, small portion. The vegetable that says in the menu was minced carrot for 25YTL. We had 3 fried dumplings for 10YTL. It's over priced for what they offer. We left the restaurant still hungry... More

Enjoyable enough but the hot pork and the hot beef were just not anywhere near hot enough for my taste and thus I was a little let down. Of the two, the hot pork was much better as the portion size of meat was ample; on the other hand, the pieces of beef, which came in a soup bowl, were... More

I recently had the opportunity to enjoy this restaurant twice in one week during my stay in Istanbul. The first night we happened upon it by accident because it was close to our hotel - just down the hill from the Arasta Bazaar. The second time was very deliberate and just as good. You can choose from a Korean or... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighborhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
