This is a very nice restaurant. The waiter Drej Mehment looked after us very well. We went a number of times during our stay in istanbul. From the restaurant you can see the ancient underground ruins where the Byzantine Magnaura Palace once presided.

We stopped for lunch and were very disappointed, the restaurant needed a good clean. The food was definitely not fresh, with rotten lemon pieces on the salad. The main course was Luke ward and certainly not freshly prepared. Plenty of other restaurants around.

My parents and their friends had dined here a few weeks ago - and based on their recommendation I booked a table. It is on the road behind the Blue Mosque and was quite popular. The waiting staff were very friendly and attentive without being too "in your face"! (I dined alone). The food was lovely; I had a kebab...a... More

Very nice restaurant, not far from the Arasta bazaar. Super nice people and great seafood. Don't miss the ancient ruins dating from the 300s, in the basement!

I frankly cannot understand what the hype is about. The food was truly terrible. I can't remember what i had but it was some sort of lamb dish but the sauce was so acidic (was advertised as sweet and savory on the menu) I could barely stomach it. The lamb wasn't well cooked either, on the rubbery side. Would never... More

- ate dinner here twice - hassle-free dining on a lively street full of restaurant touts - indoor/outdoor seating with a more upscale ambiance - check out the Roman ruins in the basement - delicious food; eggplant puree is divine - professional service and reasonable prices

We ate here twice on our day stay, including the night of our anniversary. Staff has "no hassle" policy which we loved and the service was great. Food was delicious with many vegetarian options for me and carnivorous options for my husband. Would highly recommend!

The food at this restaurant is very good to excellent. Manti, the Turkish ravioli that a previous advisor panned, is a particular taste that some may not like so to diss a restaurant for a dish that you would not like even if a master chef made it, is silly. My family of five all enjoy Manti and it was... More
