We did the most amazing lunch Testi kabab! Cooked in a clay pot which is broken and served at your tangle. Beautiful show and excellent lamb, eggplants and peers! Add a Efes beer and you are set!

Nice bread an yoghurt as a starter. Then we tried the house clay pot food! Delicious and a nice show at serving. Worth a visit.

Since the restaurant was near our hotel and the service was excellent, we ate there a number of times. The food is very good, especially the meals in the clay pot. Most importantly the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. A real pleasure.

The food here is just about the same as most other places. Fatih, the guy who touts for business is great, remembers you after many months. But the food is not as good as next door!

Wandering around the touristy area we stopped at Kosk for a tea. Lovely friendly cafe/restaurant with very good wifi.

Warm welcome; great service; good, classic local cuisine; fair prices We had 3 separate distinct experiences at Kosk and all were good. Having succumbed to a tempting display of baklava in a patisserie store window we were looking for a place to eat it and stumbled upon Kosk. They were fine to serve us tea and let us enjoy our baklava,... More

This was our local for the time we were there. The food was excellent and reasonably priced and they had menus in many different languages. When you asked for recommendations they would recommend based on your answers to questions not price. Amazing as most places steered you to their most expensive dishes. Mustfa and Fati were so wonderful and helpful... More

Street side breakfasts were unrushed and accompanied by pleasant conversations with guys who work there. It was notable to me for the fried eggs and freshly squeezed orange juice--and the staff's willingness to tweak the menu. Dinner on the terrace provided breezes and a fabulous view of the Bosphorus. I pleased to find tasty vegetarian options.

We really enjoyed our first meal in Turkey. Great way to start our trip. Walking through the city one is approached by many restaurants to try and get you to eat at their place. The people at Kosk helped us with directions.we figured we owed them at least a look at their menu. We're glad we did. Food was great... More

We had a lovely but simple lunch in this very friendly and helpful little restaurant. Bread straight from the oven, nice shady terrace on a blisteringly hot day, A welcome haven in bustling Istanbul. Nothing was too much trouble.
