Both time I visited Istanbul I went there for the puddings. The sweats are delicious. Everything I've tried of the menu was great. Huge recommendation for sweats lovers.

Simply pathetic and I don't know why on earth people would go there ? No respect for the guests !!! The staff boys would comment on ladies and obviously in there language and conspicuously bad ones as they wink each other ! If you want humiliation then you are most welcome to go there !!!

The shop is right next to where we're staying. We went there April 14, 2014 to get some sweets. At the hotel we're staying at, I really liked the lokom and asked where they get it, and they told me at hafiz. We decided to sit a bit, we had some orange juice and Sahlep. Orange juice really good, and... More

The Turkish Delight is delicately flavored and not too sweet. There are so many variations that I'll need a lot of visits to even begin to think I've sampled it! The staff offered us samples to try, but all it took was a bite to have me hooked. We tried several different baklavas. My favorite is the fistikli dürüm, which... More

After travelling through Turkey for 3 weeks on the mission to find the best Baklava, the ones we had at Hafiz Mustafa were up there! Not too expensive and you pay for it after. A bit of a struggle to find but worth it in the end. A must visit when you are in Istanbul.

As someone with an intense sweet tooth, Hafiz Mustafa was a must see for me. And yes, I'm glad I went! Food: We ordered a chocolate pudding to share because they are quite large. I think next time I'd order a whole one to myself just to be gluttonous. The chocolate pudding was indeed delicious and inside there was a... More

We sat at this cafe and had two turkish teas, a serving of Fistikli durum and Sazikli muhallebi. Both sweets were very delicious. The service was very quick and also have English speaking waiters. The decor is lovely and you can tell the customers that come in are old locals that have been coming to this cafe for years! Great... More

There were two Hafiz Mustafa shops in the Sirkeci area, two blocks away from each other. The big one on the street corner next to the tram station was the relatively new establishment, whereas the one down the street to the west was the original shop started in 1864. The Turkish delights were incredibly tasty, and after having tried a... More

A shop with a deep pride in tradition, and an excellent place to sit down and collect your thoughts after a visit to the Egyptian Bazaar. Try the wonderful "Lokum" (= Turkish Delight), served with the same old-fashioned courtesy as it would have been in the days of the Sultans.
