We visited twice and both times the food and service was great. The Ottoman with Apricot was delicious. This was a restaurant on our list to visit and we were not disappointed. Close to the Blue Mosque & Aya Sofya. Well worth a visit.

I had the Ottoman with apricot that came out on a sizzling plate and was delicous, served with complimentary balloon bread just waiting to be popped. Also as a solo traveller I was treated with great kindness. The staff would keep checking upon me and engaging me with nice conversations.

Found this restaurant off tripadvisor and it's off the beaten path which was nice since we got to sit outside. The food was decent a bit bland but. The puffed bread they give you is a huge portion and the best part was this restaurant had sriracha.

It has a nice seating area out side and I guess their best dish is the tasty kebab that it brought in the jar . We had a nice dinner and the location is very good if you stay at the Sultan Ahmed area. The price is reasonable and the service is excellent .

Had a wonderful dinner at Aloran Cafe. It is right across the street from the Four Seasons Hotel. Not a fancy restaurant, but charming with delicious food and a helpful staff. It was extremely well priced. Interestingly the staff at the hotel we stayed at had never heard of it, nor had they heard of some of the other restaurants... More

I am sure it is hard to make a living as a restaurateur in Istanbul. Restaurants in the main tourist spots vie aggressively for custom. We went to Aloran based on the tripadvisor recommendation and were not disappointed - tasty food , good location in Sultanahmet and in charismatic Veysel and his staff pleasant and courteous hosts. Recommended.

This restaurant was magnificent and the prices were very reasonable! There was a large variety of foods and drinks to choose from. As the title refers, my fiancé and I shared the Aloran Kebab Mix (70 TL) and it was just delicious!!!!!! There was so much food, we didn't need entree or desert! The service was very prompt an the... Aloran and Imbat are vying for our two favourite restaurants in Istanbul this trip. We ate comparably - entrée and glass of wine - and the cost was identical, about 80TL for two, excluding tip. Aloran is everything you want in a restaurant - great food, pleasant and prompt service, attractive atmosphere, and superb value for money. Try the Ottoman... More

It's an authentic place, great atmosphere and peaceful, but very close to Sultanahmet. The food is great and Veysal is very friendly and helpful. It's a place we definitely recommend, it was a great experience! Georgi&Florin
