We spent very nice November evening in Yaka Balik! Very friendly service, amazing view and tasty house wine! I'd like to come back once more)
Maybe one of the best in the bridge area from a service point of view (or so we were told) but apart from that food was rather disappointing given prices. The guys at the entrance were less aggressive than in the neighbouring restaurants, which is probably a good thing because you certainly want to run away from the rest. One... More
We did not have the same expereince as others at Yaka. We had a wonderful meal and at a completely enjoyable restaurant. We also were picked up by a van from the recommendation of the Marmara Pera Hotel and brought to this lovely restaurant. We walked in and there before our eyes was a table covered in rose petals just... More
There were many fish restaurants in this area and you would be hassled by everyone as you walked past. We picked Yaka, a bit of pot luck. They brought the seafood on a trolley for us to select. It might be a bit off putting as the seafood were not on ice! We picked a whole bream to be grilled.... More
Would endorse all the negative reviews here. Staff at the restaurant proud to point out their Tripadvisor sticker as they entice customers in. Yes the location is scenic but the food massively overpriced. Bread brought at the start of the meal not asked for but charged as was water again not asked for or drunk charged. Food was massively disappointing... More
Our fantastic hotel recommended this restaurant which included free transportation both ways by the Yaka Balik. We were well greeted and seated and shown the "fresh fish" platter. Prices quoted were by weight and were exorbitant as well as the jumbo shrimp which cost the equivalent of $12 for two, à la carte. Food was good, but the rip off... More
Came here for a late lunch. Sun was shining boats were coming and going and the food was excellent along with a great service and good wine. It is slightly mote expensive than the neighboring restaurants but the fish is delicious and the entrées very tasty. I can thourougly recommend it.
Pay heed to the other negative reviews - I actually wonder if these guys are gaming TripAdvisor. Drastically overpriced; toilets in a disgusting state; bottle of mineral water was flat and cost like nine dollars; and within an hour of getting back to our hotel, my wife had a stomach upset. Avoid!!
