The staff welcomed us in and walk us through the whole menu. All the food was excellent and a great price. They even wrapped some extra bread up for us to take with us without us asking. The bread is delicious!

Probably the best meal we had in Istanbul. The Manti was certainly the best I've ever had--anywhere. Wide range of authentic Turkish dishes from different parts of the country, prepared perfectly. Excellent, personal service, and exceptional value. Tucked away in a side street near Taksim Square, this is easy to miss--but I'm glad we stumbled across it.

2 foodies on a trip and this was one of the best restaurants we visited! We ordered many dishes and split them so we got to taste at least 5 different local dishes. Extra points of sympathy for the lady on the base floor making local "crepes".

We were hungry and Ramazan, our very friendly waiter fed us marvellously well. A very relaxing place to spend a few minutes, or hours! The perfect way to while away the day. Thanks Ramazan.

In our first hour in Istanbul we explored the Istiklal District. We stumbled upon Marlo Pasa & had a truly wonderful initiation to Turkish cuisine. The decor was simple and inviting. The hummus & kebobs were excellent, but it was the chicken kavurmalar that bowled me over. Wonderful.

After walking around the streets near Taksim square, my partner and I came across this little restaurant with mama the older lady as she called herself sitting in the window rolling fresh dough. We looked at the menu outside and were greeted by a lady asking If we'd like to come in. The menu was cheap and the service great... More
