Do not be fooled by the very nice interior, lady making pancakes (gozeleme) at the front and fairly full restaurant if you walk past - the food is overpriced, the waiters are rude and it is a complete waste of your money. The waiters think they're being helpful and funny but really they're just trying to make a cheap buck... More

Was pushed to order testi kebab at the price of 135 TL. Later we found out the we paid more than double of what it should be.

Environment is good and also the food and option in the menu. The price is expensive when you compare with the options you find close to The Han. When we arrive there was a lady doing pancakes in front of the restaurant and we decided to enter in order to try it, but we were advised that it was not... More

My wife orders the tasti Kabab and that was good . I was intrigued by rye lady rolling fresh dough very fresh so we enjoyed it. It's better than some of the other roadside restaurants .

I am writing this review not based on the cockroach that was walking on my wife's leg!!! The food - for me - is considered average. The waiters are not nice but not rude. If you like lamb try the kebab jar. The lamb taste is obvious which is OK for me as I like lamb. My wife got chicken... More

Three vegetarians ate well in this ottoman themed restaurant, on the main road upto Sultanahmet sites. We sat on the cushions and the service was of good quality, ensuring food came together. Recommend the turkish stuffed pancakes and the vegetarian mains were sufficient to share. This was certainly our most expensive meal, but worth it for the food and ambience.

We ordered the traditional Turkish stew as well as wine and beer. The food was nice but nothing special so we nearly fell off our chairs when we got the bill. Horribly over priced for what we had but we should have realized as there were no locals eating only tourists. Had a much better meal earlier in the day... More

The food is not bad but they have "Service Charges" not declared in the prices. So you will pay more then you expect. The Han is also overpriced compared to restaurants that are a few meters away from the main tourist spots.

In terms of price, this place is a tourist trap. Our bill was $ 200 and we were 2 adults and 2 kids (11 & 10). All we ordered was mixed grill and turkish cheese pizza. Same quality food is available elsewhere at 1/3rd the price. These guys try and trick you by showing pictures from the menu without the... More

Lovely food in the hearth of the old city! This was by far the best restaurant we tried in Istanbul. Lovely atmosphere and food. You can sit on cushions and order a proper turkish stew. There is a woman a the main hall preparing fresh pitta bread. Staff was very friendly and helpful in suggesting what is best to order.A... More
