We were strongly encouraged to visit this restaurant by staff at our hotel round the corner. We arrived for a late(ish) lunch and found the place deserted to begin with, slowly filling up a little later after something of the 'hard sell' on passers-by (which would put me off, personally, but it seemed to work on a few tourists). The... More

A restaurant like any all others in Kumkapi(and there are more than 30,I think...).The food is good but like all the restaurants from Kumkapi(and entire area) this one is extremely crowded in late evening. So you have to wait a long time to receive what you've ordered, this in the happy case scenario when you managed to find a free table.Another thing... We were recommended to eat here by our hotel staff at the Adamar Hotel (we know better). Free shuttle got us there where we were sat out of the possibility of rain which was nice. After that, the service became slow and essentially non-existent. We ordered the sea bass, recommended by others on here, chicken kebab, along with a hummus... More

I was there by myself so didnt have chance to try as many dishes as I love to. The food is very good and the service provided by the owner somehow steal your heart! Thank you.

This place was terrible. The food was undercooked and overpriced. Staff tried to sell us specials at inflated prices. My family voted this the worst meal that I have ever eaten! Not that we have traveled all over the world.

Entree - have the 'make face red' entree. Main was stunning - 'fish of the salt' - cooked at table. Great service, beautiful food, loved the music. Perfect! There's a lot to choose from here. White Wine - villa silica. Thank you! X

This was recommended to us by our hotel and it was a great choice. Beautiful fresh seafood (the giant prawns were particularly delicious) and the service was excellent. Waiters were friendly and attentive. (Be aware that the fish price on the menu is not the actual price-it is by weight!) Really enjoyed this restaurant, it was nice to sit and... More

We chanced upon this area on the first night in Istanbul and had a coffee at Hos Seda. A couple of nights later we went to another restaurant in the area and had a grumpy waiter and it was no fun at all. Two nights later we came back and had dinner at Hos Seda, and thoroughly enjoyed it. the... More

Restaurant was recommended by our hotel and transport both to and from the restaurant was provided by a restaurant provided vehicle. Restaurant is based in a lively area where there are a large number of restaurants focused upon fish dishes.it is worth a visit to this area once during your stay just to see the area in the evening. Our... More

Our hotel gave us the brochure for this place, apparently in the thick of the good fish restaurants in old Istanbul. Now we're thinking the Galata bridge area might have been a better idea for the price. Fish and mezes were good but I suspect they take advantage of their location amongst the other very similar restaurants to charge higher... More
