Lovely cafe within walking distance of the Hagia Sofia and Topkapi Palace. We enjoyed a simple Turkish tea with some great flavours available. Very friendly service in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

Everything about this restaurant is outstanding. Great location and ambience, excellent service and food. Very friendly and obliging staff. I recommend the traditional Turkish clay pot dish and the street theatre that goes with the serving of it. Thoroughly recommend this restaurant to all visitors to Sultanahmet wanting an authentic Turkish experience.

We ordered the clay pot casserole for two which provided entertainment as well as a delicious meal. The serving of the dish is a spectacle for the diners as well as those walking along the street! Great food at a reasonable price.

We came to this family-run, traditional Turkish restaurant following our evening Bosphorus boat tour. They give a 10% discount if you present your tour ticket. We had the house specialty; a regional favorite, cooked on a clay pot, that they have changed a bit. Not only was the food delicious and excellently prepared, but it was fun to see how... More

Tasty fresh various dishes prepared in an oven. I took mushrooms with meat and vegetables, was excellent and was served in a traditional Turkish way, which is nice for me as a tourist. I was feeling cold and they have given me a warm blanket. Friendly staff, fresh baked bread and tea suggested for free from the restaurant. Love it!

This place was the highlight of my trip. It was right outside of our hotel. The owner was very hospitable, he booked tours and appointments for us. Helped us out. Treated us like family. I highly recommend this place to anyone coming. We call the owner brother after 2 days of being here.

We had a great dinner and returned for an equally great lunch the next day. The outside area is very cool. They do not serve alcohol, but as mentioned in other reviews you can have the same food across the street at the Tope Deck - we really liked the atmosphere so we chose to do without the drinks. I...
