We loved it. Great view on the Blue Mosque at night from the restaurant 5th floor. The traditional kebab dishes are fantastic. For the foreign travellers: don't be afraid to try a kebab dish with yoghurt sauce. I also thought it would make a weird combination, but it's actually delicious! Very good price quality ratio too. Would recommend it without... More

This was one of the few restaurants in the Sultanahmet area where there wasn't someone outside the place trying to pressure us to go inside. The menu had different selections than the standard fare (you know, kababs, etc.). The food was fresh and delicious. The waiter was warm and friendly, but professional. The view of the Blue Mosque out the... More

We found this restaurant by accident, having popped in to avoid the rain, and were very glad we did. The menu was quite different from the standard (kebab and fish) offerings in some of the nearby neighbourhood restaurants, and all four of us were delighted with our choices. The atmosphere was pleasant, the environment and decor really charming, and service... More

Enjoyed excellent meal a cut above other restaurants in the city and without being hassled in the street to come inside! Lovely private dining-room with view of Blue Mosque. Plenty of choice on the menu and very good service especially from Kerim our waiter on both occasions. (We went back on our last night because our initial visit was so... More

We came to Rami on the recommendation of a guide book and also the Tripadvisor reviews and it was certainly the best meal we have had in Istanbul. I guess it's location on a quiet street and without a big frontage doesn't draw in the crowds, but the ambience and quality is a cut above the rest. We had lamb... More

167 TL bought us a main course a bottle of cheap red wine and a hot drink. A bit more expensive than we are used to, but very nice never the less. The food, service and view were all very good - though there are only 3 tables that are window views of the blue mosque and everyone else just... More

We have been here in Istanbul for exactly one week. At the entrance, the water invites you inside and offers you the places where you normally can choose your preferred table (the water is very pleasant and attentive). The food was unbelievable good. We tested a lot of restaurants within that week but this was the best! You get a... More

We stumbled upon this as we were looking for another restaurant. Good thing we did. It was our first experience of ottoman food. The seafood salad was average but both our main course were delicious and I especially loved the accompaniments. Not cheap but worth it. I obviously have to mention the view, oh the view!

Rami has great view of old city, however don't miss to check the paintings; they are great. Ottoman food is very food. Try hunkar begendi or lamb shinbone. Baklava is very different then everywhere else, they use walnuts in it. Waiter makes Turkish coffee in front of your eyes: good show, great smell😊. definetly recommended.

We had our best dinner in Istanbul at Rami Restaurant. The upstairs dining room was beautiful, plus a perfect view of the Blue Mosque. The food was excellent. Highly recommend!
