We made a mistake of ordering the lamb stews and goulash. The goulash was so full of cheese and had so much oil in it I couldn't eat more than 3/4 spoonfuls. I think this restaurant is well known for its kebabs ( we didn't have any), so I would advice to stick to the kebabs. They did do nice... More

We visited the restaurant after checking a review on youtube, it was a bit not easy to locate as we asked some guy who worked in a shop right next to metro stop at sultanahmet and he gave us incorrect information but I remembered the location from a map I saw on Google. And it was down the alley a... More

It was a little hard to find down a side street off of the Divanyolu. We used a map application on the iPhone to find it. The place is nice and contemporary with indoor and outdoor seating. My husband and I each got the stew/casserole. I had the chicken and pumpkin and he had the lamb and plum. The chicken... More

We visited on the recommendation of a friend... What a great find! We had such a lovely evening, the staff were great! Due to the amazing heaters we sat outside and enjoyed people watching! The food was lovely... I sense we may be back during our stay in Istanbul.

I was nervous to eat here because it was in such a touristy area of Istanbul that I just thought for sure the prices would be exorbitant and the food mediocre. Despite the area, this place served great food and the atmosphere of the street, while touristy, is really lovely.

Went here for a late lunch on our final day The meat was brilliant - went for a mixed grill and the quality was excellent and beat the other places for the meat we had The service was less than great - we were one of only 2 other tables in the place but it semed like we were a... More

Dinned here on our first night as it was not far from the hotel and had good reviews / recommended in guide books. This ended up to be the most expensive and least enjoyable meal over five days. Lentil soup and fresh bread were the best part of the meal. Mezzes not that impressive, had better quality and better value... More

Ate here tvice during our stay in Istanbul, dinner plus lunch. Food very good, a bit pricey on drinks but still OK. Could be a bit generous on smaller things. For instance I was sick the second day we were here, maybe because of the food from day one but I do not know for sure. We paid nice tips... More

We stopped here for dinner after our Turkish Bath. What a wonderful way to spend the rest of the evening. We sat outside under the heaters (they provided polar fleece blankets if you were still chilly). Dinner was very flavorful and plentiful. There were 3 of us and we each had something different - everything was very good. After dinner... More

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel. A very good service and the best meal we had in Istanbul. The "Kebap with pistachios" was delicious. Good Turkish wine list and friendly staff. A little more expensive than other restaurants in the area but affordable.
