Great food and setting

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay at Istanbul and both experiences were great. It was quite nice to see that the Staff recognized us when we came back. They made sure we get a table which is according to our choice and were not merely re directed to a pre-designated table. Infact we changed our table 3 times... More

Recommended in several reviews. Very good food especially the kebab and the selection of Turkish starters. Our problem along with other reviewers was the extra 10 percent added to the bill. On enquiring the waiter stated it was a government tax even though this must by law be included in the food price. We have no problem paying a service... More

We were recommended to come here by our hotel and were not disappointed. We had the mixed kebabs and the meat was amazing. The ambience was perfect, relaxed and authentic, and it is always so lovely to be met with smiled and what seems to be a genuine welcome. The price was very reasonable, thoroughly recommended.

I really enjoyed the food at Khorasani, so much so that I dined here twice. Located in the Old city area, it's close to many other restaurants in Sultanahmet. T1 metro line station is one block away. Atmosphere is good for dining. Inside area has two floors with the top floor feeling a bit more private. Tables are close to... More

we have been there for dinner, shame that was our last day. The lamb was amazing and the service as well. We have ordered a bottle of wine, I was quite worried about the quality but it was fantastic. Must eat there!!

After a recommendation from our little boutique hotel, I was hoping for a "genuine" Turkish restaurant, but immediately noticed that the only Turks were staff. Lots of tourists and expats. The other red flag was the entire menu was in English and included pizza and pasta. The food was okay and prices what you would pay at an average tourist... More

Excellent food, although expensive. The puffed bread was quite amazing. It is a very touristy area so don't be surprised if you are mostly surrounded by them. Worth checking this place out.
