This is a lovely restaurant providing traditional meals accompanied by the freshly baked turkish bread. We have eaten both inside and outside and the service is very good. We have eaten in a number of restaurants in Istanbul but keep returning here as the good is delicious.

We enjoyed our meal here very much. We sat inside opposite the open charcoal grill and it was interesting to see how the kebabs were cooked. There are also tables outside in the pedestrian street the restaurant is located on. We had the mixed meze plate, which while fine, did not blow us away. It was fairly small portions of... More

Khorasani is an excellent choice for delicious Turkish cuisine, made with fresh produce. We have eaten in a number of restaurants and the food at Khoresani is better than most we have tried in Istanbul. The mixed mezze plate is excellent, salads nice, and the main dishes we had were all delicious. The service is good, but not in your... More

The concierge at our hotel recommended this place for dinner. We liked it so much we went back twice! It looks like all the other restaurants in the neighborhood so you wouldn't be able to pick it out as superior, but we highly recommend it. Much of the cooking is done on a big wood fueled grill in the middle... More

After a couple of nights of so-so meals it was great to discover Khorasani. Service is great, attentive, friendly and efficient while the food is delicious. There is ample choice and a range of types including vegetarian, meats and fish. Seating can be outside at street-side tables or inside where one can watch cooking over the charcoal but a word... Nice place in a "restaurant-street" not far from Agia Sophia. Mostly kebabs. Moderatly priced food and wine - about the same price as in most tourist restaurants. Very attentive and friendly service. We liked it and went back there a couple of times.

Khorasani, one of best of its types. Though it is located in heart of Sultanahmet, it is in a such quite and silent place that you feel both; you are still very close to monuments and you are a bit far to all that hasty crowd. After dropping yourself there, you feel very relax as atmosphere and staff are so... More

After a day of being among the incredible hordes of tourists in Istanbul, we found the perfect place for some tranquillity at this very attractive restaurant in a quiet street just off the mayhem of Divan Yolu Caddesi. Unlike so many other restaurants, the charming manager here does not tout for business, but tempts you inside in a very discreet... More
